During Earth Hour, I spent my time outside, shopping and eating at the restaurant Waton Kabob. So, I was not at home the whole time and wasted no energy, since I always check to make sure all the lights and plugs are off before I leave my home. That is how I spent my time during Earth Hour!

During earth hour, I played badminton outside with my family in the park, and we made sure that our lights were turned off before we left for the park. After we came back, we played pranks on each other (because no one can see you set up the pranks in the dark). We also spent time eating outside with the moonlight as our source of light. Finally during earth hour, I remembered why and how we shouldn't waste energy, and how we can help preserve energy one person at a time, and how each one little thing can make a big difference.

During earth hour my mom told us ghost stories. It was even scarier in the dark. After my mom finished all the stories, my dad tricked us into thinking he was going to the washroom he went the long way of the house to the living room were the rest of us were and scared us so badly we all made our alarm beep ( which means we were pretty loud ). We had a lot of fun. Making a positive impact on the earth makes me feel really happy.

During Earth hour, I ate an apple by candlelight and read... boring night... but I also turned off most of the lights (I did not turn off all the lights because then it would be pitch black and I wouldn't be able to see... though I tried)

I played boardgames and card games, while there were

no lights on, but we lit candles. During Earth Hour we

tried to blow out the candles from a distance, no one could

do it! It was sort of fun being in the dark with just candle

lights because it was different from the whole room being

lit up but instead only 2 places were lit up because there were

only 2 candles.

We were getting ready to go to my friends house when the earth hour started I switched all lights off.

And whatever little was left to get ready was done in lantern light.

We used the lantern powered with batteries to put on our jackets and shoes and as we stepped out of the house we turned off the lantern too.

On the way to our friends house my Sister showed me more stars than I usually see. At my friend's place we made up songs , played with her little brother

who was going crazy. we had lots of fun and our family played a role in saving energy.

What I did for earth hour was that our mom red us 5 scary story's they made my twin sister start crying(literally). After that our dad tricked us into thinking he went to the washroom but really he crept behind and scared so badly we all started crying.we enjoyed the time during earth hour and love to save energy

For earth hour, I turned out all the lights, and played board games with my family and friends. We ate dinner in candlelight and told ghost stories because it was dark and creepyish. Then we went for a walk in our park and got ice cream even though it was really cold.

My Super-productive, Scientific Earth Hour On Saturday March 28th, 2015 I made a difference by using less electricity.Why we do this is that using electricity can cause green house gases.What I did to entertain myself was playing with my brother and my friend.What I played was a game.What we did in the game was battling monsters.Then we went to the highest floor of my apartment building and went to the stairwell to see how to get to the roof. How you get to the room is an unsturdy, rusty, small staircase. Then me my brother and my friend walked our dog. We walked my dog around our building. I then thought about what I should do for my speech. I remembered a few days ago I read about an article about the LHC. So then I decided to do my speech about the LHC. Then I was thinking about how Canada should change to nuclear energy. I think they should do nuclear because in my opinion it's the most eco friendly type of energy. Why I think this is because it doesn't emit harmful gases. The gas it emits is steam. If people get rid of the radioactive properties it wouldn't harm the earth in any way. That is what I did for my earth hour.

During my earth hour I turned off all electrical lights in my house and took out candles, and lit them. Then I took a deck of cards and we played crazy eights.(A very fun card game in my opinion) My mother won five times in a row, I think she cheated. I won twice as well as my dad, but my sister didn't win once, I feel sorry for her.(not really) Any way I enjoyed my earth hour in the end I hope everyone enjoyed there Earth hour as well because it looks like others did.
