However, globalization and technology allow us today to have much greater access to diverse resources which provide us with an innumerable amount of exposure. In that way, we can adapt ourselves to the language and feel more secure when it comes to production or interaction. 

Other benefits extensive listening has and that I also like a lot is that it allowed the listener to have the control over the listening and he or she is the one that decides how many times is going to listen to the audio, if there are going to be pauses in between or not, among other things.

This is why is so important to work segmentation skills!!
