One of the positive activities I have observed are class participation. I enjoyed watching the teacher making sure every student gets to participate to ensure their understanding. I watched every kid excited to go next and I was surprised to see every single student engaged in the subject. They all new what the teacher was explaining and I believe class activities such as drawing graphs and participation has a big impact on how well kids understand. He would not leave a kid behind, and he would make sure they all were aware of the new information by randomly selecting kids to read, to go to the front, to write about it, etc. It was exciting to see the students learning while having fun.

Some positive activities that I have observed during my field experience observations have been that the teacher groups students and each group has their activity to do and then they switch when they are all done. For example, when the kids learned the number 7 in a class that I observed they where in the activity i mentioned above and they each had to paste construction paper to the number 7 and make it one single color and the teacher was helping them. In another table they were tracing the number 7 with clay they would cut the 7 and put it on top of the paper they had and put it where the 7 was. I really enjoyed this class that I observed.

The positive activities i have observed in my field experience observations may be the fact that the coach always is their for his or her students when they are in need of help or extra demonstration when performing their activities. Also that when some students are being unfair and just passing the ball to the same kid he steps in and passes the ball to the kid that was being excluded. They also like for all the kids to participate in their activities and always find ways to incorporate class participation in their activities.

Some positive activities I have observed during my field experiences were actually pretty interesting. In one particular class, Mrs. Alvarado (a 9th grade biology teacher) used a cup activity to stack the order of population. The students had to figure out what to do with the cups when they were each given one with a particular word on them. The students then proceeded to stack the cups according to the levels of population and the group that won wrote the correct order on the board. It was interesting to watch. In another class (AP Spanish), Mrs. Elizondo had the desks set up in groups. Each group had a fallen purple cone on the desk and when she gave the students a task or assignment to work on together, when the students were done, they stood the cone upright to let the teacher know that they were finished. I'd like to include these ideas for when I become an educator myself because it helps both myself and the students.

some positive activities I have observedin my field experiences were very motivating to me. It was motivating and positive because it showed me the importance of being an educator to young minds. I loved how eager the students were to learn because they have fun learning because of the teacher, I saw how well behaved the students were and how I cant wait to become a teacher because I too someday want to be in front of students who are eager to learn.

My positive activities i observed was one junior high history teacher, she engaged the students with several techniques like praising students and using word association to remember some of histories events and timelines she would call out students to reinforce lesson with questions associated with the reading and activity. Another reading teacher would use the blackboard to look at titles and heading , pictures, words more than once. From purpose to inform, persuade and influence why the author of a book would take to the story line, i will incorporate all the observations i made in the future for my students and make a blend that fits individualized instruction.

While doing my observation hours, I observed how the teachers engaged the students they were working with. At the school I got to observe, there were three teachers in the classroom. Each teacher had a group of about 7 children and when they where done the children would transition to the next table where another teacher was at. While transitioning, the children would sing a song regarding the activity/lesson and at the same time keep them entertained, this would help alot in the classroom management. This was also a great thing since the groups were smaller and there was a lot more interaction going around. Each activity was different but the learning goal was the same. The activities were to where it would reach each individual learner type. Some activities were where the teacher would first model and then the children would try it and then try it with partners and exchange ideas. This was really great

Based on a video of observing an elementary class I watched, I came across some positive activities. The teacher explains to the class what they're going to to and demonstrated the assignment. She gathered coins in a bag to show how to count money. She then explains to the class that she will group them in pairs and each group received a white board, dry erase marker and a clear bag full of change/money. The teacher engages with the students and helps the students in need. All the children were excited to empty their bags and start counting. The teacher walked around to make sure each group is participating fairly and understanding the assignment. The students were very involved and expressed understanding when the class recapped what they learned. She encouraged them to gather loose change from home and count it.

Some positive activities i observed was the way the teacher would engage the students, how the teacher would get their attention, or the way the teacher would speak. I got to see how the students participated in assignments and how they would work together as a group. The students were sitting in tables of 6 and boy girl next to each other. The first first grade class wasnt bad, they were well disciplined, they danced along to educational obstacle videos, the prekinder class were learning their alphabet and would use building blocks to help them spell the letter.

One of the positive activities I observed while doing my field experience observations was one of the teachers Mrs. Alaniz had all the students involved into their class work activity. Every student was raising their hand and I thought I only saw things like this in movies. Every student was engaged into the lesson. There was one student who did not understand and ended up getting emotional because everyone had their hand up but him. The other students got in to help him understand, and I thought to myself WOW what is Mrs. Alaniz doing that get's the students so involved? She made the lesson fun got every student to participate, and he did end up catching up, but it was insane to see how well of a teaching she was doing that go every single student involved. I look forward to doing the same.

During my field of experience observations, I observed many positive activities. One of the activities was in Mrs. Buchanan 4th grade class. I loved everything about the way she was teaching. First thing that caught my attention was how she had set up the activities for that day, she had: "LOOK WHAT IS HAPPENING TODAY," with the O's representing eyes on the word "LOOK," the activities were right under. Her class looked very exciting. Every time she talked, she would smile. She also had, on the board, a section for materials needed for that day. They were cut-outs of images of the materials. Once they were done with those materials she would remove them and she did not have to tell the students anything, they knew exactly what to do. The best part was when she created stations and one out of all stations she was interacting, glancing every so often at the other stations. At all times she had her students connected. She also had the thumbs up technique in order for her to proceed, that would let her know that all students were ready for the next lesson. She really inspired me with her techniques.

One of the positive activities I have observed during my observation hours is watching the teacher get the students in groups and everybody has to help each other. They use items to help them learn quickly and I mean if they are learning measurements, they use supplies. I loved that when she asks something to the class, and a student gets it wrong, she corrects but still awards him verbally for participating. I love observing and learning new things and the activities they do because all of them involve them participating, raising their hands, and working in groups helping each other out.

One of the most positive activities that I saw while doing my observations is that the students did some awesome posters to demonstrate their way of saying No to Drugs. As an observer I was also given the opportunity to judge the posters to see which one was the most creative. It is great to see kids showing us tremendous skills and creativity when creating these awesome projects. I had forgotten how fun it was to being in an Elementary setting. They also did a parade all over the school with music that the principal chose. So it was great being a part of that and I really really enjoyed observing what our future doctors, and scientist were up too.
