She is learning to recognise and express her feelings in positive ways and is developing greater awareness of how her actions affect others. With support and encouragement, she is becoming more confident in social settings and is learning to engage with peers in meaningful ways.</p><p>Kwakhanya loves her friends and teachers dearly and build a trusting relationships with those she feels comfortable with. She can be selective when playing with friends but maintains warm and caring connections. With gentle reminders, Kwakhanya tends to wander off when she feels overwhelmed or when she is not following her known routine. Clear structure and predictability help her feel calm, secure and ready to participate.</p><p>Her enthusiasm and curiosity shine through when she feels settled and supported. She continues to develop confidence in managing her emotions and is learning to rejoin activities after moments of distraction.</p><p>Kwakhanya has made encouraging progress in her emotional awareness, self-regulation and social confidence. I am very proud of her resilience, caring heart and the gentle, positive energy she brings to our classroom each day.</p>]]></description>

Kwakhanya can run, jump and climb with growing confidence and enjoys outdoor play that allows her to explore movement freely.</p><p>She is developing strength and stability in her large muscle movements and is able to follow simple movement instructions. With gentle encouragement, she participates in group games and physical activities, showing enjoyment once she feels comfortable and familiar with the routine.</p><p>Kwakhanya’s balance and coordination have improved and she continues to work on building endurance and confidence in new physical challenges. She benefits from clear structure, repetition and reassurance during movement tasks, which help her feel secure and ready to participate. Her confidence continues to grow and she takes pride in her achievements. I am very proud of her effort and the positive attitude she shows during physical activities.</p>]]></description>

Her speech has improved and her show and tell presentations are now more understandable. She speaks clearly and can be heard with ease. Continued speech therapy would be beneficial to further enhance her pronunciation and fluency. Kwakhanya is not yet able to recall a story in sequence, but she benefits from using visual pictures to support her retelling. She recognises all letters of the alphabet and confidently identifies their corresponding sounds. She can read simple sentences without hesitation and knows all her sight words. Kwakhanya is able to unscramble sentences and enjoys participating in shared reading activities. With assistance, she is able to concentrate and complete comprehension stories successfully. She can identify CVC and CCVC words and distinguish them from high-frequency words. She can form letters, although her letter formation is not always correct. She can write her name independently and is developing confidence in copying short sentences from the board. With continued practice, her fluency, handwriting and comprehension will continue to improve.</p>]]></description>

Kwakhanya demonstrates a positive attitude towards her learning, shows kindness and respect towards her peers and is developing confidence in expressing herself both orally and in writing. She has made pleasing progress in her literacy, reading and mathematical skills and continues to benefit from guidance and visual support.</p><p>Kwakhanya’s determination, curiosity and love of learning are truly admirable. With continued occupational therapy and speech support, I see great things happening for this little girl.
