LÉA is the most widely used LMS in Cégep de Trois-Rivières. Mio is also the only way sanctioned by most teachers to communicate with their students. Some administrative documents, such as pay stubs, are now only available through Omnivox.

The UX should 100% be updated.

TEAMS

Used for online classes and meetings with other staff members. Very few teachers use it as a LMS.

Moodle

Although available to all teachers, Formation Continue is the best Moodle user. Some teachers, in science-related fields such as mathematics, are beginning to use it in their courses. In general education, it is rarer to see teachers build entire courses since it can be extremely time-consuming and the tasks can change very quickly.

Carrefour Numérique

Service comprised of diverse technicians to offer technical support for diverse tools (audio material, video programs, general LMS programs). They also provide training for the tools available at Cégep. They have saved me countless times!

Microsoft 365

Mostly using Outlook, Teams, Forms, and SharePoint. Formative workshops are offered to learn how to use the Microsoft suite to its fullest extent.

Used to be the Intranet (absolutely nothing on it). Now it is used as a course plan database and builder. It is not very user-friendly, but it gets the job done!

Publisher-Made Learning Platforms

The Cégep does not provide these, but we are allowed to use them through our publisher with the associated material and books. I use i+ by Chenelière and CE Online by Oxford.

A great tool for gamification and diversification. Students can use it to create cool infographics and synthesize their learning. I have used it to create escape rooms.

Google Suite

I know, I know... I just find it so much easier to use. I transfer everything to Microsoft afterwards.
