One fun fact about myself is how my family has two exotic lizards as pets. We have a Savannah monitor and an Argentine tegu, both of which can grow up to four feet. They may seem scary at first but they are sweethearts.

A fun fact about myself is that I enjoy making art in my free time. I started tufting rugs during COVID. It is a time-consuming craft, so it was the perfect activity to do while being home. With this busy program, I haven’t made anything new recently, but maybe over the winter break, I will get back into it :)

One fun fact about myself is that I trained in both karate and dance for over 10 year. In karate, got my black belt when I was in grade 9! In dance, I studied a lot of different styles such as ballet, contemporary, hip hop, jazz, musical theatre and tap!

One fun fact about myself is that I love basketball and I have been playing since I was 10 years old. I also have been coaching basketball for almost 7 years and have won about 10-15 trophies as a coach. Seeing the enjoyment and progression of players is what initially inspired me to become a teacher!

A fun fact about me is I enjoy swimming! Growing up, I completed all the swim levels and loved to swim. I also swam competitively in elementary school for a year, which I am glad I tried! As a teenager, I completed all the bronze levels and achieved my Swim Instructor's and Life Guard Certificates, along with First Aid. Swimming has been a big part of my life!

I have been playing soccer since I was around 4 years old. My parents put me into soccer for a social aspect and to be active at a young age. From there, I have been playing non-stop at very high levels, the highest being playing for the province of Ontario. I have had such amazing opportunities through this sport, it is one of my biggest passions, to which it led me to start coaching as well!

A fun fact about me is that almost all my family members are artists in some way, including myself. My grandpa and some aunts and uncles are painters, my dad is an architect and a painter, and I'm a painter. I grew up being encouraged to paint and be creative by my family and I ended up going to OCAD to study fine arts.

One fun fact about me is I used to build high end gaming PC and sell them for a profit. I learned so much while doing this and it helped with earning a side income!
