Ive definitely felt ageism, one example would be being left out of conversations because people think I'm too young to understand.

Not personal, but thinking of older people re-entering the service workforce and struggling with technology. That always seems very difficult.

Sometimes customers will make assumptions like "Your generation is so lazy and they don't want to work". They also make comments like I am too young to know about respect or that I am mature.

coming back to finish college at an older age, I've gotten the comment "super senior" making it a negative thing being older in college and not your average 21 year old college graduate

I personally have seen and heard people go through ageism especially my grandparents. Its upsetting to see how people may look at people different because of their age. I feel like I have gone through ageism especially during important conversations because I am supposedly too young to understand. I think it is unfair for people to think you have or don't have certain knowledge due to your age.

I have felt ageism when it came down to speaking about politics. People have told me I am too young to understand what is happening when age has nothing to do with it. As long as you have access to books, the internet, and research you can educate yourself.
