Me and my mom share a lot in common. We both love music, singing, planning parties, baking, getting dressed up, and so much more. My mom is important because she makes things happen. She is very determined and 100% rooting for me always. She teaches to gain perspective of the world and not to be closed-minded. Most of all, I am thankful that my mom has set my spiritual foundation for success. She teaches me to lean on God in times of need.

My dad has taught me to be smart, level-headed, patient, and understanding. Growing up, he was always strict on me, and I often had to do things that my siblings now don't do. At the time, it seemed like it was the end of the world, but I now realize that it all happened for a reason, and without those experiences, I wouldn't be who I am today. These are my grandparents on my dadʻs side. My nana has been with me through thick and thin; she is the most incredible person I know. She is kind and giving, even when sheʻs not supposed to be. My papa is the most underdog man I know. He runs operations at DAGS without complaining and does hard work without trying to get it evenly distributed. He has taught me to be considerate of other people and to advocate for myself. They have both raised me since I was a child, taking the place of my parents, who were in high school. They put a lot of work into getting me into Kamehameha, and I will forever thank them for forcing me to attend.
