We were walking back to the bus to return to Pamplona, when the teacher Catalina said we had to take the stairs to the beach. It was raining really hard and we didn’t want to go on the wet sand. That’s why we all started saying: ’no! We don’t want to go and walk on the beach!’ But then we followed and realised there was a sheltered walkway under the bridge. When we were walking there, we could hear someone drilling into something. Then a friend said it sounded like a snoring giant. So I started laughing because I started to hear the same thing.

Firstly, it seemed that it was going to rain but not that hard it went after a few hours. Well, everybody know how much rains in this zone but, I was very dumb because of doing that.

So, as expected, I slipped and fell off to the floor in Mirakontxa boulevard, the main street in San Sebastian. I was so worried because of that abd some people stopped and tried to help me.

Definitely, I've learnt to see the forecast prevission before going away.

I had a fun day in San Sebastian. First, we had to devide the group in 2 smaller groups for the city tour. Both groups got a guide and we started to walk around. We visited some of San Sebastian's most beautiful sights, and got lot of information about them. It was very interesting, but I think I would have enjoyed it more if the weather wasn't so bad. It was pouring rain all day.

After the tour, we visited a museum about Basque history. I thought it was very interesting, because I didn't know a lot about it. After the museum, we went shopping with some of the girls. Afterwards, we went to get a drink at Starbucks. Then it was time to return to Pamplona. Althought it was raing all day, I thought it was a very fun experience.

Also, the weather wasn't too pleasurw. It were raining cats and dogs, so that is so normal in San Sebastian. I had expected that the people from there, were very used to that type of weather. But if for us, the spanish people were too much, I can't imagine for the belgians people. At the free time, some of us had lunch in the Burger king. There weren't too much people because it was Wednesday in the afternoon, but like this was better because the food came out soon so we had more time to visit de city by out own.

In the morning we went to the San Telmo museum. We saw a lot of different interesting things in the museum, but the one that stood out the most was, the musical instrument, the txalaparta. 

At first the tour guide explained how the instrument works and where it originated. Then he asked if we wanted to try it out. First he played the txalaparta with one other student. The student had to play the same rhythm over and over again. The guide could change his rhythm but it was important that he didn’t play at the same time as the student. This worked out very well.  

Afterwards he let two students play the instrument. But since neither of them had played the txalaparta before, it wasn’t as easy and they ended up playing at the same  time. 

We chose this anecdote because we hadn’t heard from txalaparta before and it was interesting to learn more about it. 

I really enjoyed our visit to San Sebastián, a city with narrow streets, rich culture, and beautiful monuments. We started the day with a guided tour, where we learned about the city's history and culture and saw many interesting sites. After the tour, we went to a museum that showcased local art, culture and the traditions in San Sebastian.

In the afternoon, we had time to explore the city on our own. Unfortunately, it started to rain, which made walking around a bit less fun. I believe the city looks much nicer in the sunshine, with its stunning beach and colorful buildings shining bright. When the sun is shining you can relax everywhere and that wasn't possible in the heavy rain. Overall, it was a great experience, even in the rain.

After that, we grabbed something to eat, there were a couple of restaurants where we ate, ordered a couple of tapas and for the dessert we ordered a slice of cheesecake, the Basque's cheesecake was one of the best cheesecakes we've tasted. Afterwards we went to shopping, I didn't buy a lot of things, only a lucky coin. After this, we went to get a snack in a Starbucks, where the prices were really high. Anyway, at the end, we went through the rain to the bus and got pretty wet, it wasn't the best trip but was funny.

As it was a rainy and cloudy day,

it made the city look gloomy and dreary.

While we were walking around the wet streets, suddenly, I fell down into a huge puddle. Because of this , my trousers were wet and I stayed uncomfortable for the rest of the day.

In over to solve this problem and stop being uncomfortable, I decided to search a shop and buy a new pair of trousers.

The problem was that all the trousers were very expensive because of the high prices of Donosti, so I didn't want to spend that much money on a pair of trousers.

So finally, my trousers stayed wet all day and This ruined my expected wonderful day.

We have chosen this anecdote because it really had a big impact on my trip to Donosti as it made me feel ugly all day.
