My family is my secret weapon – my built-in hype squad, my safety net, and the reason I power through every challenge. They remind me that no matter how wild the storm, our roots run deep, and we weather it all together. They inspire me to be better, to live as pure as a white dove, to be a light against all the darkness of this world. They keep me grounded yet lift me higher, reminding me that I have a purpose to fulfill — not just for them, but for the Lord. I aspire to become the person they believe I can be, and the one the Lord calls me to be: a beacon of hope, love, and faith in a world that so often forgets the light.

I believe that God is always working—even when we don’t see it, even when we don’t feel it, He is still moving. Life doesn’t always make sense in the moment, and sometimes it feels like our prayers are unanswered, but I’ve learned to trust that God is always behind the scenes, shaping everything for our good and His glory. This belief gives me peace during difficult times and helps me stay grounded. I’ve faced pain, guilt, and loss—but through it all, I’ve seen how God uses even the hardest moments to bring us closer to Him. That’s why I choose to live with faith, to keep moving forward, and to trust His timing over mine.

This might not be a typical “fun” fact, but it’s something real about me: I tend to be hard on myself. Even though I know God is good, gracious, and merciful, I sometimes catch myself questioning my past decisions and struggling with guilt. But I’m learning, day by day, to surrender those thoughts to Him and rest in His forgiveness.

Now, to lighten things up—here’s a more fun fact! I enjoy reading astrology. As a Sagittarius, I used to get excited whenever I read something positive about my sign and would hope that maybe it described me perfectly. It’s a bit funny, though, because I know it doesn’t align with my faith. That’s why I take it lightly—I read it just for fun, knowing that my true identity and future are in the hands of God, the One who created me and already has a perfect plan for my life.

At the top of my list is to improve our home and help our church grow. I want to be a blessing not just to my family, but also to the ministry my parents have poured their hearts into. I dream of buying new instruments, microphones, and air conditioners for our church—simple things that can make a big difference in our service to God. Before, when my papa was still with us, I was more laid-back and dreamed mostly of becoming a flight attendant—my dream job. But after everything that happened, especially with our family now relying on pension money, my priorities shifted. I now aspire to finish my studies, work hard, and provide stability and comfort for my family and our church.

One of my biggest hopes is for my mama to have a healthy body. I want her to be able to go for monthly checkups and take her medications regularly without worry. Her well-being means the world to me. And of course, there are still personal dreams I hold close. I want to travel the world—whether alone or with my family—and one day, I hope to marry someone who shares my faith, values, and who is also grounded and successful in life. I may not have everything figured out yet, but I trust God’s timing and His plans for me.

I’ll always be in awe of how almighty our God is. He truly has a reason for everything, even the pain and the loss. The challenges I’ve faced—especially losing my papa—have drawn me closer to God and deeper into His ministry. Back when my papa was still with us, I wasn’t as involved or committed to the congregation. I was doing things, but not always out of love. His passing was a wake-up call for me. It made me realize that I needed to realign my life, to stop running from my purpose and start using the gifts God gave me for His glory. For that, I thank the Lord—because even through heartbreak, He brought growth and direction. There are things I’ve done—mistakes and struggles I’ve faced—that only a few people know. But I’ve laid all of them at the feet of Jesus. I’ve surrendered everything to Him, and in return, He has given me peace, purpose, and a renewed heart.

I’ve faced many challenges in life, but the greatest one was losing my papa. He passed away suddenly on May 2, and everything felt unreal. Just days before, we were laughing and spending time together as a family—and then, just like that, he was gone.

One of the hardest parts is the regret I carry with me. The day before he died, I saw him vomiting everything he ate, and eventually, even just water. But instead of staying, I chose to go out with my friends. I can’t help but feel that I added to his stress, especially when I left home without telling anyone. A part of me believes I contributed to the weight he carried.

Right next to the pain of losing him is the guilt that followed. It’s something I continue to wrestle with. It’s a heavy burden—one that I’ve prayed about countless times. And while it’s not easy, I trust that God is patient and merciful, slowly helping me walk through the grief and healing.

In everything I do, I give thanks to the Lord for giving me the strength and ability to accomplish things. One of my proudest moments was when I was given the opportunity to lead worship in church. I could truly feel God’s presence moving in the hearts of everyone there. It wasn’t just about singing—it was about being used by God to touch lives, and that’s something I will always cherish.

Another accomplishment I’m proud of is being chosen to host an event for the second-year students while I was still a first-year college student. It was an honor to be trusted with that role, and it helped me grow in confidence and leadership. Now, by God’s grace, I’ve been given the chance to host again—this time for the third-year culmination event on May 21st. All glory to God for these opportunities.

When I was a kid, I loved collecting old or antique items—anything from brown-colored papers to cute vintage glasses. There was something about the charm and history of those objects that fascinated me. As I grew older, my passion shifted more toward music. I’ve been pursuing my talent in singing and, most importantly, using it to glorify God. Music has always been a natural interest of mine, and it continues to be a big part of who I am.

Aside from music, I also enjoy capturing moments through pictures and videos. I love documenting memories so I can look back on them and relive those special times. I often upload some of these to my YouTube channel and other platforms—it’s my way of preserving meaningful experiences and sharing joy with others.

Recently, I’ve developed a love for watching Chinese dramas. While I still enjoy Korean dramas, Chinese shows have really captured my interest lately with their storytelling and unique cultural elements. It’s something I look forward to in my free time.

I am currently a second-year college student taking up a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management at Cebu Technological University–Tuburan Campus. I’m passionate about learning and growing in this field as I prepare for a future in the hospitality industry. For Senior High School, I studied at Babag National High School. I completed my Junior High at the University of Cebu Lapu-Lapu and Mandaue, where I built a strong academic foundation and developed many of the values I carry with me today.

My elementary journey was definitely an adventurous one. I attended four different schools, starting with first and third grade at Larrakeyah Primary School in Australia, and second grade at Manunda Terrace Primary School, also in Australia. I then returned to the Philippines and studied at Proverbs Ville Academy in Lapu-Lapu City. From fourth to sixth grade, I continued my studies at Babag 1 Elementary School. Even as a child, I was already experiencing the world in different places and learning in diverse environments.

Our family loves to travel, and by God’s grace, I was blessed to spend three summers in Darwin, Australia. We returned to the Philippines when I was in third grade. Later on, when my parents followed God’s calling to serve in Tuburan, we moved here during my first year of college. We first lived in Bagasawe, then moved to Barangay 2, and now we’re finally settled in our own home in Apalan, Tuburan.
