My favorite education show as a kid was Wonder Pets. I still know all the words. My favorite show overall was Tom and Jerry. Including people of all types of situations around the world is important. General things, such as race and gender, is important. But there are some things that children of their age wouldn't understand. Some shows are meant to learn basic abc, so including an autistic character in a show meant for young children might not stick as well as they would like.

My favorite educational show as a child was "Fetch! With Ruff Ruff Man," and my favorite show overall would be "Sagwa." Television is important in a child's life. It shapes the way they view the world and the way they act. If you don't have kids that have disabilities the kids won't know how to respond. If there is children with disabilities, deal with death, divorced parents, and parents who are in jail the kids how watch the show will respond how the muppet characters did because kids learn by example. Kids who watch Disney shows tend to be more dramatic because that's how the characters are on the show. I think Sesame Street will help make children feel more equal to everyone else.

My favorite educational TV show as a kid was The Wonder Pets because it was fun to watch them help everyone while going on adventures and traveling around the world. My favorite TV show in general was either the Little Einsteins because it was fun to sing along to all the songs and learn about all the places and people they visited, or Tom and Jerry because it was super funny and always made me laugh. I think inclusivity is a really good idea for television for children, and it should be implemented to help kids understand some problems that others might have. It can teach kids that even if someone isn't like you or if someone is different, it shouldn't matter because we are all humans and we should treat everyone with kindness.

I dont know if I did, but in general I dont think kids pay attention to what is happening. They enjoy watching the show for the vibrant colors and characters. Im not sure how it was for other people, but that is how I was. It is also good for the show to be inclusive with, many different races and diversities. It teaches kids from an early age, that people with different skin colors are completely fine to be friends.

Inclusivity is very important to include in children's tv shows because then they will be used to people with autism, or people of a different race or religion. If children grow up watching these diverse shows then racism will be diminished severely. It definitely matters a lot because it will give the children different ideas about people with autism and they can realize that they aren't that different from each other.

The show did not only teach basic lessons like colors, numbers, and letters but also taught problem solving. I think that more tv shows today for kids should include more daily lessons. Children are shaped by the things they hear and see. By including different races and other minorities, children will learn to be inclusive of those different of them. This could make a huge impact on the future generation. This could also stop bullying of those who are different.

I think it is very important to include all people in TV shows. It teaches children that they should include people in their lives also. It shows that it's "cool" to include people and it's normal, so it's something that you should do. It teaches children that not everyone is the exact same, and that's okay. I think more shows should do what Sesame Street is doing by adding a child with autism to the show because it shows that all children are equal and we shouldn't treat people differently based on something they can't help.

I believe inclusivity in tv shows is very important for young children because I myself learned many things from tv shows. I learned from the actions of all the characters and nowadays technology is every thing. It can be really helpful because kids can make the change in the real world by learning from these tv shows and becoming a great role model. Kids of different backgrounds, race, and families can all feel truly accepted when there is something you can relate to you or there is someone who understands what you are going through.

My favorite educational show as a kid was The Wiggles. My grandma used to put it on when she would babysit me when I was little. It ended up being my favorite show overall as well since I wasn't allowed to watch other shows besides educational ones. I think that it is really important to put diversity and inclusivity in television for kids. Kids can grow up with a certain view of society and diversity from a young age and it is important to show that everyone is different and that's okay. Showing diverse situations and people can help kids when they meet people in real life and it can help them have a broader and more diverse view of society. If these characters and situations are not put into children's television, there's a possibility that they will not encounter them until later in their childhood, which will prevent them from being as open and accepting as they could be. In conclusion, it is really important that inclusivity is shown in educational television because it helps children to be more accepting and inclusive in real life

I remember at a young age I would stare at people that looked different than what I was used too. I would then turn to my parents and ask what was wrong. I think including that kind of stuff in tv shows like characters with autism or disabilities is important and spreads the message of how kids that have those disabilities are just like us no different. I also think it is important to discuss topics like death and racism and stuff like that because again it shows how everyone is the same no difference and how some things are part of life like death

They both give real life issues and problems children might run into as they grow up and how to deal with them. The Wonder Pets especially gives a good example in helping others with compassion. These programs did not have any inequality in its characters which is extremely important. Having a variety of everyday problems and things that are going on in the world today introduces so much to children. It exposes them to these issues and how to deal with them

When I was a little girl, my favorite educational TV show of all time was Blue's Clues. It gave a more happy, amiable environment to just simple problems and learning of items. It also helped with problem solving and extreme thinking for young children to help with clues to come to a conclusion. Although, it was more education of a happy environment. There is another TV show I loved as a kid, and I am not sure if it is considered educational or just entertainment purposes, called The Teen Titans. It helped deal with crisis and working with people that were different. It also showed friendship growth, but the environment was quite dark, opposing to Blue's Clues. In conclusion, involving children of all different kinds and showing kids different environments good and bad is good. Although, I guess it has been done for the past ten years. However, a TV show I loved as a kid not necessarily for educational purposes was Avatar: The Last Airbender. It did give moments of learning with sibling rivalry/love and family conflicts. Learning of all different kinds of backgrounds can help kids understand other people and the way they act instead of judging.

Other favorite TV show were Curious George, Max & Ruby, Angelina Ballerina, Clifford the Big Red Dog, and Arthur. I think that it is really important to not only show education in children's TV shows but also diversity, because the world is diverse and that's is a good thing! By including different backgrounds, race, religion, sexual orientation, disabilities, etc children from a young age accept people more and creates less hate, racism, and bullies. Kids see the reality of life and the world we live in. Kids would learn to love people not caring about their background, race, religion, sexual orientation, disabilities, etc.

I think it is very important to have diversity and show different things that could happen in society today. I feel it prepares children for struggles ahead in life at school and home. Showing these tv shows can prepare children with bullying, friends, and even different diseases. If tv shows don't put this on tv it will not prepare children on how to react and accept different people. Most kids grow up watching tv so if you can help them learn while entertaining them. Shows that include the kids by asking them questions and including them in what is going on can really educate if that is the shows purpose. This is why Sesame Street is so great because it allows the kids watching to relate to the situations by involving them. The fact that Sesame Street is still going on is great because kids can still learn and become more educated before even leaving their house.

It has the ability to set social norms for kids, in their most important time of development. These shows have the ability to evolve our society's young kids. They can teach kids lessons of acceptance, friendships, and even of how to deal with difficult situations such as divorce and autism. I believe that people are not born believing in racism or other forms of discrimination or hatred against others, but are molded into their way of thinking by society. Which is why these tv shows, with characters that kids look up to, can help to mold these young minds into a new more open minded generation.

I believe that including someone who is different than the average person, shows other little kids watching the show how to treat people like this. Also it shows them not to make fun of them, but to help them feel more comfortable in school and possibly even include them more. My favorite show as a child was definitely "Dexter's Laboratory" because I honestly found it to be super funny and I enjoyed it a lot. It didn't teach much but it kept me quiet for hours at a time. While my favorite educational show was actually "Sesame Street" because my mom said it was probably the realist kid's show that was on when I was little. To this day she still believes that it was the best choice for me and my sister.

It really matters to me that inclusivity is involved in kid shows. It teaches kids at an early age that everyone is different and that is ok. If they don't see that now, when they finally do see it, they will think it is weird or wrong. For example, if they had a friend who had two moms, they would treat that friend differently because they think it is weird and wrong.

I think that inclusion in Sesame Street is an important factor because it teaches young children about the world around them and the different people and groups that live in it. Not only will kids be more comfortable around those with varying physical and mental conditions, they will learn to accept them. Tv has a major impact on not only how kids learn, and what there learning, but on how they behave when faced with different situations. The fact that Sesame Street, one of the most popular educational tv shows for over 40 years, features a character with autism makes children that watch this show aware and acceptive of children with this condition, and educates them on how to behave around these kids.
