         <description><![CDATA[<ul><li>A torogan ( 'resting place' or 'sleeping place') is a traditional ancestral house built by the Maranao people of Lanao, Mindanao, Philippines for the nobility. A torogan is elevated above the ground by columns cut from trees of huge girth.</li><li>The Kawayan Torogan is the last remaining habitable torogan in the Philippines. Its walls are covered with plywood sticks and the roof thatched with dried coconut leaves.          <description><![CDATA[<ul><li>During three hundred thirty years of <a href="https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_the_Philippines_(1521%E2%80%931898)">Spanish colonialization</a>, the Philippine architecture was dominated by the Spanish influences. The <a href="https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Order_of_Saint_Augustine">Augustinian</a> friars, along with other religious orders, built many grand churches and cathedrals all over the Philippine Islands. During this period the traditional Filipino <em>Bahay na bató</em> (Filipino for "house of stone") style for the large houses emerged. These were large houses built of stone and wood combining Filipino, Spanish and Chinese style elements.</li></ul><div><br><br></div><ul><li>The bahay na bato is constructed from the ground up with a solid stone foundation and brick walls. Today, more and more talented architects are Its design evolved throughout the ages but maintained its nipa hut architectural roots. Its design has evolved throughout the ages but still maintains the bahay kubos architectural basis, which corresponds to the tropical climate, stormy season and earthquake-prone environment of the whole archipelago of the Philippines and fuses it with the influence of Spanish colonizers and Chinese traders. The diversity in vernacular architecture ranges from the bahay kubo to the bahay na bato torogan idjang payyo and ethnic shrines and mosques. The design was inspired by Iloilo's <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dinagyang">Dinagyang</a> and <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paraw_Regatta">Paraw Regatta</a> festivals. The <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paraw">paraw</a> is a native double outrigger sailboat in the Visayas region, used in the annual Paraw Regatta Festival sailboat race. Abstract designs of the Dinagyang Festival are featured on the glass walls of the center.</li><li>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; It is a two-storey structure with a total floor area of 11,832 square metres (127,360 sq ft). The main hall on the ground floor has a 3,700-seat capacity and 500-seat function rooms on the second floor.          <description><![CDATA[<div><br></div><ul><li>The Ifugao houses were usually similar in architectural designs but they differ in decorative details depending on the tribes. Their houses were harmoniously located with the contour of the rice terraces. The one-room house of the Ifugao commonly know to them as fale.
