We get to know our facilitator for this subject which is sister Nuraliyyah. She explained the course outline, task that we are required to do this subject in order to pass and help me a lot when i have questions or uncertainty. The first class was conducted class online on Microsoft Teams. We did a little bit of Taaruf with everyone and learn the first topic which is Adab in learning knowledge.

I can understand the lesson well. The facilitator is experience and knowledgeable but her English is quite hard for me to understand but it's okay i can always asked if i have a hard time understanding. I also learned a lot about the content of Al Quran. The first one is concept of god, followed by permissible and forbidden that was mention by god, then mention about Akhlak, worship god, the stories of prophets and lastly is about the paradise and hell. Other than that we learned about the history of revelation of Al-Quran.

Thoughtful closing by our nakibah that i love today:

• Dakwah yang paling besar ialah akhlak dan etika (perbuatan kita) dakwah with actions.

Eg: bersih, tk menipu, berbuat baik, solat di tempat yg berbuka, sedekah, bagi salam, salam tangan, tutup aurat tujuan untuk tunjuk kepada orang lain supaya mereka dapat menginspirasi kan orang lain dengan imej islam.

Our group presented our slide today on Akham and Adab. We continue with our lesson today on

1) Rasul and Nabi

2) Yaumul Qiyamah

3) Qadha wa Qadar

We need Nabi and Rasul to be our guidance on earth and so that we cannot give excuses over devil and lust. We need to believe in the day of judgement to test our faith and it is one of the six pillars of Islamic faith. We don’t know when Qiyamah was to make sure we are always ready and not too comfortable with our faith. Qada and qadar means things that will happened to us is certain.

Qada = we know the even will happened but we only merely know about it / the date, but we don’t know for certain if it will happened or not unless it already happened.

Qadar = is when the event already happened. We don’t know for certain if it will happened or not. It is secret that only Allah know.

When someone is going through something and cannot accept Qadar from Allah, don’t attack them with rushing them to accept the Qadar but instead listen to them and let them take time to heal.

Definition is Ihsan is: in whatever we do, Allah sees us. We worships Allah like how Allah sees us. Ihsan is to make us a better person, genuine in doing our jobs and sincere with it if we have Ihsan in ourselves. Kita takkan berkita dalam apa jua kita lakukan.

Ihsan is in 2 ways:

1. Giving favour to others

2. Goodness in doing it

Example: feed stray cats / water a plant / help others without asking for reply / giving benefits to other / giving gifts to people on their birthday / commit in a group assignment

After that we watch presentation of other groups about “Hikmah: why our Iman always been tested”

I love the topic Ihsan so much because i learned a lot about what Ihsan is and what more can we do as a human to better ourselves and make us wants to be closer to Allah.

Today’s topic is Adab towards parents. Today we play game with our classmates, where each group need to write down Adab-adab that is given to them by the Nakibah. Then we need to rotate to each group to listen to their presentation on the respective topic.

1- adab towards parents

2- Adab towards neighborhood

3- Adab to society

4- adab menuntut ilmu

5- adab towards animal and plants

After that we spin the pool to pick people to present their topic and what they understand about others topic. We ended the class with a memorable notes from the Nakibah about being a good children. She also noted that next week is our last class so she told us to bring potluck and gift for exchange with our classmate in our next class.

having usrah every week giving benefits to me as

• usrah help me to increase my knowledge about islam

• as a reminder to me

• be able to get acquainted with students from other course

• relax and interesting

IMPROVEMENT

• make quizzes to test student's understanding

• do some games during usrah (to avoid members becoming sleepy and to get 2 way communication)

• the others are already good! keep up the good work!

We also learn the concept of Tawheed.

After that we had our potluck today. Everyone had their meal ready and even bring present for gift exchange. We had a lot of fun with Ssrah this semester and big shoutout to our nakibah, sister Intan for doing such an amazing job.
