I believe that emergent bilinguals are entitled to additional scaffolding, especially when it comes to integrating technology into their education. One of the frameworks that resonated with me from Cheridy Aduviri's presentation was modification with a critical mindset. emergent bilinguals need to be carefully considered when preparing a lesson because they will not benefit from a regular lesson that is meant for students who are proficient in English.
