When the archer nochs and releases the bowstring, shooting the arrow, it shoots the arrow at it’s target. It can either miss or hit its target. Now let’s replace the bow and arrow with the parent and its offspring, it represents how the offspring is now old enough to go by itself, so the parent should release the offspring into the wild for it is now independent.
