After going through each of these symphonies websites I noticed that both groups perform festive shows, depending on what time of the year it is. For instance, both symphonies perform a Christmas show, but they also do fun and innovative shows too such as "Raiders of the Lost Ark" and one called "I heart the 80's". I think its very neat how they still play classic symphonies but they also do shows that might be considered more "fun". I personally would be more likely to attend one of the innovative shows since they seem to have at least one that appeals to everybody. These concerts would not be considered part of the canon, but they do still perform plenty of shows that are considered a part of it. That's the reason I decided to show some pictures from both of the festive shows performed by the symphonies.
