When I was talking to my grandfather who attended school in Mexico. He recalls at time his teacher would tune into to some radio channels to listen in on what was going on during that time. I think this is kind of crazy because as someone who went to school in the 21st century we would just watch YouTube videos or news clips to learn about current events.

When I interviewed my mom. She was actually able to pull up a picture similar to this. She always would tell me how then everyone was so amazed by these little boxes. She says that computers have come so far as to how different they used to be. She recalls playing math blaster whenever the opportunity presented itself. But not only was it great for games but also for getting work down.

This to me was kind of funny. My mom and my grandpa telling me about some pretty major technological advancements. But here major learning tool was some colored bears. I also recall using these in like second or third grade. We would use these little bears to do simple math. Like I have 3 red bears and 1 blue bear how many bears do I have total? But my sister said she more often then not would find herself distracted playing with the bears. I mean what do you expect from a second grader? ?

My grandfather recalled using a very vintage item for learning. He recalls how some times at his school they would use film projectors. To watch educational films. He recalled how everyone thought how it was just the coolest thing ever. It truly is crazy how like we see it as an old outdated version way to watch a video. But to them this was ground breaking.

My mom says she recalls when her teacher would reward her class by playing some classic music from her teachers favorites such as Michael Jackson & Bon jovi. She said she recalls how the class would be quiet for the most part and get almost all of their work done effectively. She said she would always listen to the radio or cassette tapes to help her keep focus on her task at hand.

My sister ties her learning tool to my moms. Except they have the same goal but done in a totally different way. Now days if you walk into almost every single high school classroom or if you walk into any college class you will find almost every student has a pair of air pods. But my sister told me how she would use these for educational use. For example if she were to be reading a book for english she would also read the audio book to help her stay on track. She would also listen to random facts bout the topic she was studying. Needless to say almost every college student owns a pair of these handy air pods.
