1. What is the theme or narrative for your photographic essay?

a. The theme of my photo essay will be where I grew up. This includes the houses I lived in, schools I went to, my nan and grandad's old house and shops that I regularly go to.

2. How and why do you think this series of images will appeal to the viewer?

a. Because it shows somewhere that they (viewers) may not have been to before and because they might like finding out about something that's new to them. Especially Church Langley, which has only been around since the 1990s.

3. What arrangements have you made to secure access to the people or subject that you would like to shoot?

a. I haven't made any arrangements and I don't think that I have to because it's a public area.

4. How many images do you intend to shoot?

a. More than 30 at the least. I want to take as many images as possible to ensure I get the best out of hat I've got.

5. How many images do you intend to select for your final photographic essay? (Minimum of 5)

a. I'd say about 5-10 images. It doesn't have to be a lot.

6. Which photographic techniques that you have leant so far do you intend to incorporate in your final work.

a. I think it would be nice to use some long and short depth of field techniques as well as some emotive shots too.

7. Will your final images be presented in colour or black and white?

a. The earlier years such as in the late 1990s and early 2000s will be in black and white, to represent the start of my life. Then as the years go on the pictures will turn into colour to show that things changed and the more recent times of my life.

8. How would you like to present your images?

a. I'd like to present my images on a powerpoint, which I can then upload to padlet.
