1. The idea of our product was to create two parodies from the films, 'The Blair Witch Project' and 'The Shining'. We chose the most iconic parts of the films, for example we used the "HERE'S JOHNNY!!" scene in the shining when Jack cuts down the door with an axe.

2. We made mind maps to show what things we would use like equipment, camera shots, props, costumes and locations. We also created story boards to show what we would do in the film. These things helped use get an idea of what we would need to achieve our film and what we should do with the camera shots, it also helped with the editing and showed me what I had to do considering shots and how long they should last for.

3. When I was editing my work I used different techniques to make the film more effective. I used filters on the Blair Witch Parody to make the video more scary and give it that horror atmosphere, I also used a filter on The Shining Parody and only used it on the part when the character breaks down the door but removed it at the comedic part of that clip. We also used pend held shots in the Blair Witch Project parody because it makes the audience feel more immersed and also it is used in the original film. In The Shining parody we used a sudden violin sound when the character hits the door with the axe to make it more intense. I also cut the music suddenly when the character says "Hey you guys!" because that's when the awkward comedy comes in. There were also some technical difficulties in our project, one of them was that our Blair Witch footage was deleted and we had to go out and film it again, which didn't take too long. There was also a small problem with the music when it randomly deleted so I just had to replace it which really wasn't a problem.

4. The planning and pre-production for me was difficult at the beginning because I was working by myself and I couldn't think of many ideas so I joined Daniel King and Michael Collyer in there production group. I think this helped me a lot because if I didn't join a group I probably wouldn't have finished my original idea. Some of the planning could have been better because we kept changing the idea of the Blair Witch parody that we did, we changed the video so it doesn't have a story which made it much shorter and it would have been good to have some context.

5. Our final work is about on the right track and we completed our editing for our film on the 22nd June, which is still about a week late from the original deadline but we didn't have that much left to do. We could have improved and met the deadlines by trying not to get as distracted and we could have been faster while filming and doing some of the pre-production.

6. We changed the length of the Blair Witch parody because a lot of that footage was deleted so we just used the scene when the characters run away from the woman.

7. At first we were managing the deadlines fine and then some of our footage got deleted so we had to go out and film again for The Blair Witch parody. Also we kept getting distracted so that didn't help with us trying to get to the deadline. We are a week late from the original deadline which was when we had to finish.

8. How effective was your research in helping you achieve your objectives? Give annotated examples from your research to show how it informed your development of ideas and final idea. The research that we did helped a lot because it showed us what sort of atmosphere we should use for our film. We also looked at budget trailers for the comedic side of our product so that helped a lot because there were a lot of funny parts in those clips. I looked at some trailers that were completely different to see what different shots I could use.

9. Next time I have to get it done on time. I have to get less distracted and concentrate more on my work, I also have to make sure that there will be not as much technical errors.

10. The main strengths of our project our that we were resourceful and we were able to get a good amount of props and locations without having to spend any money. In the editing I used techniques like fast cuts to make it more intense and filters to add to the atmosphere. The weaknesses of our product was that it was too short and we could of added more, we could have changed some camera shots to make sure that we're filming the right thing and we we're also getting distracted a lot of the time.
