You all have been the best class ever! My greatest accomplishment this year has been all of YOU! You all have made such amazing growth. Some of your growth was academic -- I watched you struggle as a writer to writing beautifully! Some was personal -- some of you figured out who you were. You advocated for yourself. Shared things you thought were great about yourself and shared some not and as a class we loved you for both! I loved watching you all grow as scholars and as people. Thank you for making my first year at PA Distance such a memorable one. You have helped me more than you know. I feel like you all became my friends and helped me navigate online teaching. You all were so open and honest with me, shared parts of your lives, shared the struggles you were going through. That is tough! You all are a good group of kids and I am so proud to say that I know you all. You will do amazing things in this world.. I just hope when you do, you remember your 8th grade teacher ;)

Two important accomplishments that I think happened over the course of 8th Grade ELA was when I did "Lesson 2.16 Journal Entry" back in december last year. And recently when I did "Lesson 7.8 Presentation" just these last few weeks. In the end, I think that being in this course and doing those two assignments will become good memories that I will look back on in the future. Overall, I think I had a good time in 8th Grade ELA. I probably will miss being in this grade but I have learned some very important things.

My proudest accomplishment was when I created my slideshow for the end of the year when we had to pick a topic and write about it. I really enjoyed that and had so much fun customising the slides and putting my knowledge into something that I actually know. I loved this year so much! I'm gonna miss this class so much, this class was so supportive. I never would have gotten this support at public school so thank you all so much, I really appreciate this so much. This year was a hard year for me. All my siblings went back to public school this year, I'd been struggling mentally trying to figure out who I am and trying to igonor the mean things I've been hearing from kids I though were my friends. It hurt a whole lot more hearing mean things from these kids because I was at church and I thought church was supposed to be a safe place. I know that I can share my personal things with you guys because I trust yall thank you sooooo much! <333 I am now confident in me and who I am. Have an amazzzing summer!

My proudest accomplishment was when, I was able to write my own essays/stories without having to always spend hours and hours trying to figure out how to start off, and I'm also proud of myself for being able to get the last project of the year finished without stressing a lot, it went smooth like butter and I had a lot of fun with it. Miss Honaker your literally the best ela teacher I wish everyone in this world could have you, like just even 10 minutes with you would have a huge impact on a students mindset, how to look at things and your very relatable and Kind, This year you helped me feel free as a butterfly writing my story I believe its called writers block, but now because of you I don't feel that bulge in my throat trying to figure out what to write about and how, you helped me boost my creativity and how to go off of it and to not overthink things and to just go with the flow with everything, you haven't just helped me in school but with life in general I am handling things differently and Im not quick to jumping to conclusions or assumptions. As a student you helped this school year in Ela feel like it was really just lots of relaxing and chilling and lots of fun! Honestly the assignments never really felt heavy on my back like how I was really stressed last year. I love you, and I hope you have a wonderful nice relaxing summer as you deserve it!!
