One of the most important and lasting impacts of the New Deal was the old-age insurance and unemployment benefits that were being provided, it helped families with dependent children and those who are disabled. It also saved capitalism. It restored faith in the American economic system, while at the same time it revived a sense of hope in the American people after the Pechora Investigation and the Great Depression The series of social and government spending programs got millions of Americans back to work on hundreds of public projects across the country.

The 1920s was a decade of change, when many Americans owned cars, radios, and telephones for the first time. Immigration, race, alcohol, gender politics, and sexual morality all became major cultural battlefields, although many negative events happened, the 1920s changes brought the world closer to home and connected families and friends.
