They wanted more than anything to overturn the treaty and get revenge on the allies.
The treaty also forced Germany to pay a huge sum of money to the allies. This, alongside the depression, caused massive hyperinflation, which caused unemployment and lead to rearmament in order to give the Germans a job. 

However, Germany's economic crisis was partly self inflicted. The Weimar government chose to print out more money, Which caused the hyperinflation. The Germans were also partly exaggerating the suffering brought by the treaty. Germany's steel industry was very big during the Weimar Republic.

In conclusion, The treaty had a lot to do with starting the war. First is because the policy made Hitler think that he could get away with anything allowing him to gain more aggression and stronger because no one was in his way (he felt as if he could take risk after risk and at the end win) . 
Second , Hitler made no secret of his plans to expand his territor, appeasement sent the message to Stalin and the USSR that Britain and France would not stand in hitler’s way if he does invade the USSR. This caused Hitler to have a mindset that Britain and France wouldn’t take action due to past year experience and they won’t interfere if Hitler invades Poland .

Although without the Nazi-Soviet Pact there wouldn’t even be a war because Hitler wouldn't have attacked Poland, most people argue that war would have been inevitable so the significance of the Nazi-Soviet pact is that Hitler would not have to expend as many troops as he would have taking Poland if the Soviets had opposed him which made him more confident in attacking Poland which started war.
Another reason is that the Nazi-Soviet pact allowed Hitler to focus fighting on only one front(the Western front) because the pact was a non-aggression pact. This is important as this was one of the main problem for Germany in WW1 which made Hitler more confident in attacking Poland and starting war.

First of all, the depression resulted to extensive economical problems. Countries from all over the world were affected by this. The poor economical conditions led to increased aggression for the sake of “self-preservation”. For example, Japan invaded Manchuria and Italy invaded Abyssinia. 

Additionally, the spirit of international cooperation was destroyed. It resulted to a weaker League of Nation (LoN). Countries became more self-centered and hesitated in solving international problems. They prioritized the importance of their individual countries instead if maintaining peace. 

Lastly, the Great Depression also played a role in the gain of Hitler’s popularity. Hitler made use of the weak conditions of the Great Depression to his advantage. His power rised and hence the series of future events.

The first reason is, Hitler would always break the rules of the Treaty of Versailles and rearm himself and other territories such as the rhineland. This causes him to be more powerful and putting International peace in danger. This was a reason why International peace collapsed.

Another reason is, Hitler would break promises and do what he promised not to do, such as invading Czechoslovakia when he promised to only have a plebiscite over Sudetenland, which is part of Czechoslovakia.

The reason I believe so was because they set the precedent that its ok to ignore their rules and attack other countries. This was shown with the Manchurian incident, in which the LON let Japan get away with attacking China without reprecussions. Incidents like this showed hitler that its ok to do whatever he likes and that they were irrelevant, leading to his increasing demands and eventual wars. Another reason the League caused the collapse of international peace is that they were inefficient as a peacekeeper. This was shown in the Corfu incident, where despite clearly being the aggressor, Italy was compensated by Greece instead. This was because all their decisions depended on a few members, showing that those nations (Britain and France) were willing to sacrifice peace for good relations, leading the road to war. One final reason was that the League failed to encompass every country.
