During his time with the investment banking arm of CAA, he focused his work on areas of sports team investing. John Underwood is currently pursuing his bachelor’s degree in business from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He was previously a National Society of High School Scholar as an English student at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida. Mr. Underwood is an avid fan of lacrosse. He is a member of the varsity team at Marquette, a Division 1 team playing in the Big East division, and represented USA West at the World Tournament Games in Israel. He previously played at IMG, during which time he was nominated by players and coaches as a team representative. The HEADstrong Foundation was initiated by Nick Colleluori, a dying cancer patient who was a varsity lacrosse player at Hofstra University. Among the services the foundation provides is Nick’s House, a complimentary guest house for cancer patients and is located close to Philadelphia.
