Catherine McAuley's theme song was all about that us religious people that we should be one union with God (united). This is an important lesson to learn: our world has many difficulties, including divorce and the destruction of families. Catherine had difficulties as well, but she had faith in God."at the end of the sky is the rising of the sun" (Ps18)she belived that. She was a great woman who has a significant influence on the Mercy Sisters. Catherine McAuley was a holy lady who reached God via prayer, faith in Christ, and the sacraments, especially the Eucharist.

According to a manuscript, Catherine used authority and expected the sisters to like Jesus. When it came to interacting with people, Catherine had a gift for comprehension and approach. In a piece of advise, she once wrote, "learn the dispositions of individuals under your command and employ them in accordance with their respective capacities." This led her to stray from the guidance of perfectae caritatis: "managing his subjects as God's own sons and with them to obey willingly," according to Catherine McAuley. In the same way, she wished for her sisters to maintain high-level educational achievement in the religious life, but this should never be the purpose of achievement. She also intended for her branch convents' superiors to avoid legalism.

Catherine McAuley's letters and frequent trips to the new convents placed her squarely in the Pauline tradition of frequent travel and frequent writing. In one case, she wrote a letter to her sister M Elizabeth Moore of Limerick to entertain and relax them. She referred to her superiors as "foreign powers," and her letters were titled "foundation circulars." Her concept of authority was openness and consultation. She was also highly courteous of people, which was one of her features. Catherine's attitude toward her sisters, as well as her family, was one of liberation. She instilled the correct mindset in people around her, and she lived the credo that "realness is the basis of communication." Catherine urged them to believe in God. She was a practical discipline to poverty and the necessity for spiritual moderation.

As a result, we must continuously beseech it with great humility and unwavering patience. Her devotion to Christ's passion led her to regard the mass as the ultimate expression of divine love. And Catherine McAuley's spirituality was her loyalty to love Jesus. She urged her sisters to learn to play the tabernacle in the same way she did. To pray the third section of the rosary was a way to show love to the blessed lady.

Catherine's vision and her life were her way to express her love to god. She was well mindful that the greatest human is the need for God, and she was likewise persuaded that the sister of mercy's main apostolic role was to depict Christ. And for this same reason, Catherine's main purpose was to be a source of compassion, mercy, and joy for those to whom she ministered. Catherine's reality drove her to help those in need of all kinds. She also believed that doing acts of kindness would bring her closer to God. She became the Lumen Christi by shining a light into the darkness of ignorance that surrounded the lives of the impoverished in her day.

A person engaged in poverty could not help but be humble and follow the beatitudes' ethos. Therefore, Catherine McAuley is, without a doubt, a beatitude Christian. Which putting on Christ means being compassionate, patient, industrious, and humble, all of which Catherine has. She felt that the words "me" and "my" should be removed from religious discourse. She was cautious to stress that humility does not exist in words but in actions and that it should be achieved through prayers. She said that individuals with modest spirits receive unique blessings from God.

Catherine McAuley is a true religious leader who faithfully upholds her principles of tolerance and tranquility. It's crucial to remember that there is only one Christ who is everywhere, is everything, and is on everything. God, who is at work in all of creation and whose inspiration all must stay open, just as Catherine McAuley was, speaks to men's hearts. In a letter dated February 1841, she stated that people must do good today and better tomorrow, that we must work hard so that we can walk towards the heavenly house to which we are all journeying.

In her approach to catherin religious life, she never lost sight of the fact that the visible apostolate of the sister of mercy was not practical ministry obligations, but a witness to the ideal of consecration. She claimed that living in Jesus Christ through holy remembrance in order to draw others to his love and service had been an unbroken practice in her life. Her continual witness to the Lord's gladness was that every sister of mercy should be cheerful and have faith in what they were doing, because God's will is that everyone who undertakes his service should be joyful and will be rewarded.Catherine Mcauley possessed a number of characteristics, including an unwavering faith in God, which enabled her to be more attuned to him. She was able to have courage and convey love to others via charity with the grace of God. She possessed a number of characteristics, including patience, playfulness, compassion, and, most importantly, efficiency. She never gave up and always looked forward.Catherine McAuley's life circumstances were promising to give her legacy of kindness to her sisters, and she could justify having made the words of Paul to Timothy her own. You know what I have taught, how I have lived, what I have aime at, you must keep what you have been taught and know to be true, this is how the man who is dedicated to God gets completely equipped and prepared for any excellent work (2 tim 4:7-8).

Catherine Mcauley's charism, with which she charmed the ireland and english stages of her day, was in fact a multidimensional interpretation of the gospel message of mercy: the hesd, whose basic meaning is love, kindness, and faithfulness. St. Thomas Aquinas classified charisms as free graces and divided them into four categories. Catherine McAuley was blessed with a unique charism that sprang from her deep Christian background. She embodied St.principles, Paul's and there is a clear link between her answer to an encouraging task and the words found in the first letter.Catherine was a servant to others, but her first duty was to serve God, whom she adored. She claimed that only those who trust in God are safe. God taught her about love by demonstrating it to her. It was love that sent her into the Coolock villagers, the Middle Abbey Street poor school, the Dublin slums, and the protestant-run hospitals: it was love that enabled her to found a house of promises — in Baggot street and multiply the foundation fourteen times in a decade, or, more accurately, in the space of six years racking up from her first branch convent at Kingston in 1835.

Catherine's love inspires her to do amazing things. For example, in the protestant environment in which she spent her early years, love served as a catalyst. Love made her a wonderful person since she only saw the good in others and didn't condemn them. It demonstrated her regard for others, her compassion, her playfullness, and her conversational ability to adapt to various levels without being condescending or phony. She regarded Christ as a key person in history who embodied Mercy and Charity. She inquired as to what benefit his philanthropy would be to us if his mercy had not come to our help. Catherine Mcauley was a kind person, which is why John Henry Newman praised her for "such great self-command, so crucified in the flesh, so meek, so gentle, tender-hearted, so forgetful of hurts," and many others praised her. Catherine Mcauley was one of God's chosen ones, given with a unique purpose.

Francis Warde in one of her November 1840 letters to be “ ready to waste some time with visitors and introduce its sisters.” Catherine McAuley was willing to listen to the cries of the oppressed. Her time was spent with the visitors. She was sensitive, like Jesus was, to a large number of hungry people.

For Catherine McAuely love was a bond of oneness with God, her sisters, and God's mankind and with the whole of God's creation. Her focus was on communal living, compassion, the significance of leading by example, the importance of deep personal prayer, charity, faithfulness, and loyalty. Catherine McAuely's spiritual talents were encapsulated in this maxim: her emphasis on attachment, the love that was the key to her complete forgetting of self for Christ and his service. "Love must exist before it can be exercised," Catherine Stated . As a result, she was realistic in her view of love, emphasizing that Christ did not rest content with empty promises of love but demonstrated it efficiently, even to death on the cross.

“Let charity then be our badge of honor, our highest glory that they're being us but one heart and one sold in God... the one mind, one mode of acting on thinking having ..... having His glory and our my satisfaction ever in view”

Catherine McAuley thought that "generations of family should share in each other's charms and joys," thus distrust, hate, and rivalry were contradictory to her ideal of public love and togetherness. It was important to avoid coldness, constraint, and hate. When we're tempted to treat a sister harshly, we should ask ourselves, "Would she be able to persevere in faith if the others treated her like I do?". No, it would be unbearably painful for human nature to bear. We must be nice and kind, as well as pleasant and courteous, in our dealings with one another. Grace must rule our demeanor. The kind word, the gently sympathetic glance, and the patient listening to sufferings in the family and in the broader sphere of existence were all treasured by McAuley.Because "acts of charity performed elsewhere don't have any merit before God until a firm foundation of this virtue is established reception," the alley angel and also the domestic devil don't have any place on Baggot Street. She involves the conclusion that philanthropy must be enjoyable. "Something more," the author continues, "that replaces, enriches, and energizes." "Expel any harshness, hostility, and restriction from your hearts," she continues, "because despising our Sisters in our hearts and souls is not enough." We must all have a positive, welcoming attitude and demonstrate it via our words, actions, and demeanor. Remember, even if there are a thousand laws to obey, the most essential rule is to be kind. Can we place any restrictions on our love for one another if our almighty Lord invites us to love as He did?The sisters' love and togetherness, which paralleled Christ's relationship with the Father, served as verse and responsory to Catherine's theme song.

McAuley as said maintained her obedience, one of three vows which are mainly part of the sacrifices, which builds in us a sense of well being and shows our love for God almighty.
Just as Jesus obeyed his father was granted to be in union with God; Catherine does for the lord. She believed that God was the Centre of the universe and all the things we most do must come from that Centre to keep us in harmony with the Lord.
Faith, McAuley travelled in different paths some which may no be of her own choosing but she went through trusting in the guardianship of God. Her understanding of the Gospel's interpretations of mercy blended the devotedness of prayer to the apostolate leaders. She loved God above all things, the kingdom and justice was what she seeked as she grew.
