This movie reminds me of the book, ": Between the Lash and Gun." It reminds me of that book because, Jordan is all alone in the book. Also, in this movie Tom Hanks is trapped on an islaand all by himself. Both main characters are all by themselves in the conflicts. That's how this book reminds me of the movie Cast Away

This image reminds me of the book "Trapped between the lash and the Gun" because Jordan get's whipped. It also reminds me of the time Jordan gets protected by Buster, and didn't get whipped.It also reminds be of the part when Jordan was cotton picking, and he fell asleep on the job. In addition when Clara kept putting cotton in his bag and she came under weight. so that's what this picture reminds me of.

The following image reminds me of 'Trapped Between The Lash and The Gun' for many reasons. The first thing it reminds me of was Jordan and all the other field slaves picking the cotton. The second thing this reminds me of was when Jordan picked to little cotton and was taken to get whipped. Adolf Hitler the man who hated Jews and treated them like slaves. The man who would take and separate Jews from there families. The man who reminds me of the masters that treated the coloured slaves the same way. This picture reminds me of Jordan's master. This picture reminds me a lot of trapped because Jordan travels to the past to slavery days. In slavery the whites would always treat the blacks different. They even used them for slaves. This picture made me think to when Clara helps Jordan by giving him some of her cotton and she ends up getting whipped.

I think that this was well written. She was able to effectively explain the connection between "Trapped Between The Lash and The Gun" and Adolf Hitler. Even though these were both very different circumstances, by reading this I could find a lot of similarities. Hitler discriminated against the Jews and the white people discriminated against the black people; both were just because of the colour of their skin. In conclusion, I strongly agree with this connection.

This connection is good but this connection talks about the times where people used the lash but the picture does not represent some of those times because it is just a lash but some of the connections did remind me of some of the tomes the slaves got whipped
