Be sure to use correct pictures on each poster and label with the instrument name.

With a classmate, conduct a Virtual Instrument Interview on Google Meet or Zoom of someone you know who plays an instrument. Record the interview using the app and send your teacher the link.

Be sure to prepare at least five questions BEFORE the interview and ask them to play the instrument if they are able.

Open a Google Doc and start a Personal Musical Reflection Journal. Each time you listen to a song (Or after if you're in the car...) answer these questions in your Journal Doc:

What instruments did you hear?
What families do they belong to?
Where were you when you listened?
How did the music made you feel or think?

Include at least 4 songs. Feel free to draw a picture to express any emotions the music brings out in you!

With friends or family, play a game of Charades and act out different instruments from the Orchestra. Bonus point if they can guess which family that instrument is in!

Record a round and post the video to our Music Google Classroom.

Explore the 'Games' section of 'Classics for Kids' to virtually play each instrument in the Orchestra and find out which family they belong to. When you're ready, create a short composition using the virtual piano.

Choose an instrument family and use Google Earth to add Placemarks to highlight instruments in that family in their 'Musical Habitat.'

Put them anywhere in the world, just be sure to add and label the placemark!
