This was because of a loss of fresh products from the U.S. It lead to the grocery stores to pay a for the local Canadian produce because of the cheaper product. Other than the fact there was a decline in electricity, bakery products, and internet access prices the gas prices low movement was the definitive point that was keeping the inflation rate from going anywhere.
