I love writing poetry because it gives me a voice to be represented with. Though my poetry I feel like I can put into practice the ability to free my mind and be open-minded. I write letters in the hopes to send them to people to uplift them during difficult times such as the one we are living in. But, also to send them afterwards because we all need ways to stay connected and I think letters can definitely build up on that connection. I make art every single day of my life because it allows me to loosen up insecurities and feel closer to my identity, the person that never stops growing and that I hope to be. During my 10 minute break I always make sure to play with them, let them out, or give them a treat.
