This is a talk that i once had with my best friend in my boarding school in class 8.We were just sitting near our chappel and thinking about the ambitions and our future. When my friend suddenly said "Future, huh". He was tensed for a moment and dazed for a bit and said bro " I usually want to become a businessman and start my own business, but what i lack is confidence and i am weak in maths and not too gud with stuff like this ". I listened and said "So what, does it matter until we give it a try at what we lack.".He said not at all bro, it does matter when we try. so i told him next time since we both lack something lets take up a challenge not to give up until we succeed and try.The person who gives up first without trying losses and does what the winner says . We agreed to it without any problems. Then days passed by and the time came where our exams result was to be put up on the class board. what i lacked was same as my friend so we both tried and did our best and the outcome was unexpected. As we both had accomplished our goals. But still my friend did do better than me and i thought "I am not gonna give up yet", and as i lost i had to complete the task of giving him a treat for 2 weeks.

After I talked with my friend I realised that the only thing to succeed in life is not only luck and logic., but the things that matter the most are.
1. Hardwork
2. The zeal to challenge yourself to do your best even if you fail.
3. Practice.
4. Never give up before trying
5. To face every situation instead of running away from it no matter what is it
6. Do your best until you are satisfied.
7. Learn from your mistakes
8. Behaviour
*Posture:- What is posture? What are its effects on our daily life? let's see. A person posture is the first impression as i a interview it resembles one's personality, his traits and his behavior. if a person sits with his back bent , it means he is no interested in the conversation or is bored and also he lacks confidence. if he sits upright it means he is confident, a passive listener, greatly inclined and interested in the conversation and is active and thinks passively and clearly. It leaves a good remark on the persons mind.So we should be vary of our postures as it plays a great role in changing and seeing one's personality by others.

*Speaking:- we should always use kind, polite and word that are clear to understand. We should avoid using slang languages that create a bad impressions on others.

*Listening:- A person is more interested and happy when you actually hear to what they say instead of putting your words above theirs i.e putting importance to your own words instead of listening to them and their suggestions and advice.a person who hears everyone properly and then replies to what has been said is proven to be a good listener as compared to the others.

*Behaviour:- all the above overall judges one's behaviour and his/her personality.
" Fake it till you make it"

I would like to share what I reflect about the map of communicating. We are the senders who send a message to the receiver which receives the message and interprets it by decoding the encrypted message verbal or non- verbal message then sending it back to the sender vice versa. The channel is the means of communicating via face to face ,by distance or by means of signs. the message sent by a person back to sender is called feedback.when an problem occurs while traversing messages is called noise or interference

1. Never give up and keep trying. This is one of the things which one must learn as early as possible in life. It is shown in the movie that Rubik's cube was a really tough toy to solve and some Mathematician has solved it 31 minutes. He was aware of the record of 31 minutes but he solves it in mere 17 minutes(I guess) so that he could get time to talk to one of the selector of interns. This example from the movie applies also to our life as one starts to lose confidence and hope once he is unable to do something and gives up on himself and his life. But what i learned is that life is not over or there is nothing you cannot do after a single failure .There will be many more opportunities in future so never ever give up as it it is the seed to success and to a happy life."One's failure does not decides his future but the future is decided by you after that failure it depends on what you do nexxt so never give up."
"Life is a board of chess every move counts so think and never give up and see you will get the ladder of success"

2.Believe in yourself even if others don't believe in you.
I have always thought what is this word "believe" ?.The word in itself means a lot as it depicts you and what you will do . I learned that even if the world does not believe in you but you believe in yourself, then there is nothing to fear about. When one believes in himself he can merely have any fear and there is always a bright light that shine within him because he knows that what he does will be right and will lead to success. so never stop believing in yourselves because that will never let you go in darkness as there is always hope that things even if they are worse it does not matter as something or the other will work out and you can control and put it it to ease and correct the mistakes."FAITH and HOPE are like two hands without the other it is dim which shows despair and hate and when together it is bright like light that showers happiness and joy"

“Hey. Don't ever let somebody tell you you can't do something. Not even me. All right? You got a dream. You gotta protect it. People can't do something themselves, they wanna tell you you can't do it. If you want something, go get it.”

I liked this dialogue the most in the movie as it shows about the human life and how they give up once they are told "huh, you are useless".One cannot tell a person good and bad no matter who is it.Because one's presence is determined and lived by himself and not by other. So don't let anybody "choose who you are because it is you who choose who you are",what you will do and what will you be."Perspective of others doesn't matter unless you accept it".So until and unless you stop believing in yourself, you never give up and you trust yourself and what you are doing is right you will be successful and you will never fall in despair.

1. To Specify:- We have to specify the context and info we use to communicate well as it idealizes the prospective of other and ours.we should precise the topic to the very specific point we need to convey so it is easy to understand.

2. To Measure:-Whether for personal satisfaction or to keep you motivated, goals should have some form of metric. Measurability is also key to gauging progress and keeping track as you work towards a goal.

3. To Achieve:-The idea isn’t to set an easy goal, it’s to set a realistic one. How much time can you realistically dedicate towards achieving this goal?. To acheive something we need to have a strong will and determination.

4 TO Realize:- A relevant goal is one that resonates with an organisation’s broader business goals and most importantly, the bottom line.to do this we need to realize our own strength and weakness so as to have a bold and strong resolve to attain our goal.

5. Time:-Find a duration that allows enough time for the goal to be completed but isn’t so far away that it gets lost in your to-do list. This holds everybody involved accountable .If there’s an event coming up you’re going to talk at, that’s a clear deadline for when you need to have completed this goal.

Eye Contact:- It shows Interest.attraction ,distraction, distress and dissatisfaction. when a person is happy and enjoys listening to you,he continues to look in the eye and it shows he is interested in your conversation and vice-versa. When someone is not interested he/she keeps distracting himself via body language and expressions.

3. Body Language:- It is the main way or method of conveying a message or to communicate.

Practice active listening. Effective communicators are always good listeners. Active listening means engaging with what people say by giving affirmative replies and asking follow up questions to show that you are paying attention.

Focus on nonverbal communication. Mastering nonverbal cues and nonverbal signals can help prevent miscommunication and signal interest to those around you. Pay attention to your facial expressions and body language when you are speaking with someone in a professional setting. Your nonverbal cues affect the first impression you make on someone. Maintaining eye contact, limiting hand gestures, and having good posture go a long way when meeting someone for the first time.

Manage your own emotions. For the sake of clear communication and your own personal wellbeing, it’s important to manage your emotions and express them appropriately in context. Allowing strong emotions to unnecessarily creep into a professional setting can lead to poor communication and conflict.

Ask for feedback. There’s no shame in asking for honest feedback on your communication skills from colleagues. Asking your peers or subordinates for their advice on improving your communication skills can help you better understand how you are coming across in your work environment. Cultivate a willingness to seek out other points of view and forge better relationships with your coworkers.

Practice public speaking. Public speaking may sound daunting, but there’s no better way to develop good communication skills than by seeking out public speaking opportunities. Great communicators are able to clearly articulate their feelings, whether they’re speaking to a large group or talking face-to-face to one other person. Regularly speaking in front of a group will magnify your strengths and weaknesses and force you to develop great communication habits.

Develop a filter. Effective communicators generally have highly developed social skills and are able to modulate how they express their thoughts and feelings to those around them. Know what’s appropriate to express in different interpersonal contexts.

In this session I learned about the hidden language and how does it convey the message to a person via body language, behaviour and communication. For example a hidden language is best to imply that "first impression is the last impression". When one stands firmly and strongly with a good dress up,eye contact and facial expression it shows it confidence. When one puts his hand in the pocket and has his leg wide open on the ground at a distance he shows that he is hiding something and is insecure.

i) Varying the pitch of your voice: Females tend to have a higher pitch of voice, due to different anatomical structuring. When delivering speeches, tend to stick to lower pitches. Microphones are deceiving, as you may think it amplifies your voice. They do amplify voice, as well other articulatory mistakes, higher pitches and breathing! So next time you have a speech using a microphone, practice with it first.

ii) Speaking slowly: I cannot emphasize enough, the power of pausing. When you pause, you are able to catch your breath. Your pauses will also make your audience lean forwards in their chair, and wait eagerly for your next message. Pausing is the best way to improve audience involvement and attention.

iii) Stress on certain words : When you increase emphasis or stress on certain words, you draw your audience’s attention. Choose powerful words to stress on, so that your message is captivating and clear.

iv) Speak quietly : Use this effect when you want your audience to calm down, or to hang to your every word. A certain way to grab the attention of someone, is through an assertive voice, rather than a loud authoritative voice.

v)Copy others : Look at videos of powerful orators, politicians, celebrities etc. Observe the way they modulate their voices. Practice, practice, practice!

1. Always convey your message with the variation in the pitch and tempo. Never deliver your speech in a monotone as it will not only bore but also send your audience to sleep.

2 Speak at a rate so that your audience can understand you because fast delivery betrays a lack of confidence.

3 Speak normally at about 125 to 150 words per minute. Check your speed and try to bring it within this range.

4 Pronounce words properly, putting stresses at the right syllables.

5 Speak loud enough so that everyone in the audience can hear you clearly.

6 Pause for a moment in between sentences to control your speed and approach better.

7 Refrain from vocalised pauses and nasalisation such as 'er', 'ah', 'unh', 'umm', etc.

8 Take care that you do not repeatedly use such phrases as 'you see', 'I mean', 'What I meant,' 'Understand?, 'Have you understood,' 'Clear?', 'Is it clear?', 'Was it clear?', etc.

Cross Cultural Communication

Cross-cultural communication is a process of creating and sharing meaning among people from different cultural backgrounds using a variety of means. The term cross-cultural communication is used interchangeably with intercultural communication at times. However, cross-cultural communication and intercultural communication are differentiated based on the focus of the research: whereas intercultural communication focuses on the interaction with different cultures, cross-cultural communication focuses more on the comparisons of different cultures. After providing a more thorough definition of cross-cultural communication, this entry offers a review of the inception of cross-cultural communication and a description of different approaches toward research. Major cross-cultural communication theories are then discussed, and considerations for those conducting cross-cultural research are provided.

Conventionally, culture, in the narrow sense, implies different ethnicities and races.

for ex

The Chinese's treasured concealing is red since they acknowledge red as lucky overshadowing.
