         <description><![CDATA[<div>In extreme cases, it is possible that the patient will go into hypoxia and possibly respiratory arrest. If the patient become unresponsive, there are two routes you can take, depending on the situation.<br><br><strong>Unresponsive Patient: Pulse, but no respirations. </strong><br>If the patient has a pulse, but no respirations, it is important to promptly deliver rescue breaths. These breaths should be delivered once every six seconds, or ten breaths per minute. These breaths should be performed until the patient starts breathing on their own, or until a responder with more training tells you to stop. <br><br><strong>Unresponsive Patient: No pulse, no respirations. <br></strong>If the patient has neither a pulse, nor respirations, confirm the patient does not have a pulse and is not breathing, and begin high-quality CPR with breaths and Compressions.&nbsp;<br><br></div>]]></description>
