They brain wash them to make them "like" BB, but when you try and force opinions on people they normally don't listen.

He is growing up in a horrible dystopian future with only his only escape being the OASIS. His father died after being shot in a store raid and his mother was an escort in an online brothel and she also died. Wade lives with his Aunt Alice in a stack which is a bunch of trailers stacked upon each other. Wade has a place called his HIdeout which is where he goes to be on the OASIS. His Hideout is the only place he has privacy. The OASIS is a huge network of virtual worlds people escape from the reality they live in.
