I first arrived at VinUniversity in the summer of 2020. The university still had yet to welcome its first cohort. It was a Covid world. I had no idea what to expect.

Four and a half years later, our first cohort has graduated. As I reflect, I hope the legacy I leave is several-fold. First, my love for learning and our students. Second, I caused students to rethink the past, to recognize that history is about more than just the study names and dates. When properly conducted, history can be an crucial instrument for deepening understanding about the present, offering insights and even solutions to contemporary issues. Lastly, I would like to think I played a role in transforming the way Vietnam and Southeast Asia is studied in the 21st century.

Shooting the VinUni Legacy Book – Promotional Video was a special moment for us —a chance to create something representing our time at the university. It’s more than just a video; it’s a way to capture the spirit, memories, and incredible journey we’ve all been a part of. From late-night brainstorming sessions to the excitement of filming, every part of this project reflects our passion. We believe the hard work and creativity of all members (production & casting team) have turned this into a lasting legacy that will always be a part of VinUni’s story.

After years, VinUniversity is still staying in their hearts wherever they are on our huge planet. From my side, I’m happy to continue to contribute my knowledge and skills with Professor David Harrison as a media collaborator at UNESCO Chair Vietnam. The first-ever in Vietnam! 🇺🇦🤝🇻🇳

Fast forward 2.5 years, this picture shows my research team at Hong Kong Polytechnic University where we presented our published academic paper to a group of professors and practitioners in the education field.

What isn't seen is the 2+ years of hard work collecting and analyzing data, doing literature reviews, and coding the comments we collected. This research involved a diverse group of individuals with different skill sets and talents. The student developed in their critical thinking and analytical skills throughout this process.

The final product was a student co-authored publication. The students and I were very proud of this accomplishment and ended up winning one of the 'Change-Maker' awards for this effort.

I would like my legacy to be that of someone with a focus on inclusivity and mentorship. I aim to seek out new ideas and create meaningful connections between faculty, staff, and students that last a lifetime.

Over the internship semesters, ambitious library students have actively participated in a variety of library programs, working alongside our experienced staff. They demonstrated dedication and commitment to exceptional service by assisting patrons and organizing events.

During their time with us, these talented students have the unique opportunity to experience and learn from one of the most innovative and cutting-edge academic libraries in Vietnam. From exploring digital library operations, metadata management, and information literacy training, to hands-on involvement with AI-driven learning platforms and immersive content development — this program is designed to inspire and prepare them for the future of academic librarianship.

We are proud to contribute to foster the next generation of library professionals and building strong connections between academic institutions.

Being the second cohort, we weren't quite as pioneering as the first, but we certainly weren't playing it safe when we committed four crucial years of our lives to VinUni—an institution that hadn't yet established a track record.

We learned early in our finance classes that "high risk, high return," and this principle proved true at VinUni—these past four years have truly been the most remarkable of our 22-year journey.

We extend our deepest gratitude to all the Professors who shared their knowledge and wisdom with us so generously. We're thankful to the TAs and Staff who patiently dealt with our obstinacy and cared for each of us individually. While it's difficult to convey all our appreciation in this brief message, we recognize how profoundly VinUni has shaped our identities and prepared us to venture into the world beyond.

The Project Management class at VinUniversity lays the groundwork for fostering a legacy of innovation and excellence. By teaching students the vital skills to lead, strategize, and manage impactful projects, this course transcends theoretical knowledge, empowering them to seize opportunities and make meaningful contributions. These students emerge as ambassadors of VinUniversity’s vision, creating transformative change in industries and communities alike. With each successful project, they help establish VinUniversity’s growing reputation as a vibrant hub for forward-thinking leadership, leaving an enduring mark for future generations.

During the editing process, I had to compile the achievements of VinUni students, and at one point, I felt a bit disappointed that I had not contributed any significant accomplishments to VinUniversity. However, when I held the book, I realized that true achievement is not just about external accolades but about the fulfillment of being someone “behind the scenes,” capturing the incredible moments of others.

It is truly an honor to witness VinUniversity thriving on its journey toward excellence. And here I am—as an observer and a recorder of VinUni’s legacy—spreading my pride and love for VinUni.

I want to be remembered for my leadership in projects that combine business with social good—like my work on eco-friendly initiatives, sustainable fashion, and the jackfruit peel paper bag business model. These projects show my commitment to sustainability, and I hope they’ll inspire future students to think beyond profit and consider the greater impact of their work.

I also want my involvement in internships and real-world experiences to leave a lasting impression. I’ve always believed that growth happens when you step out of the classroom and apply what you’ve learned. Through my own journey, I hope to encourage others to do the same, seeking hands-on experiences that build their skills and shape their careers.

Finally, I want to be known for my creativity and drive to break boundaries, whether through music, branding, or entrepreneurship. I want to inspire others to explore new ideas and challenge the status quo, showing them that there’s no limit to what we can achieve when we combine passion with purpose.

In the end, I hope my legacy at VinUni is one of inspiration, responsibility, and a reminder that success isn’t just about what we achieve, but how we use our skills to make a positive impact on the world.

Each of us, in our own way, carries a thread in the tapestry of VinUni’s story. Some weave bold patterns — like pioneering the first AI-enabled "Green Finance" book to champion sustainability. Others lend their hands behind the scenes, like the ones who edited and preserved our university’s journey in the VinUni Legacy Book — capturing every milestone, every triumph, and every hope.

Even as seniors prepare for their very last days, they look back with wonder — not just at the challenges they overcame, but at the courage it took to build something where there was once only a vision. In a place with no long-established traditions yet, every choice, every late-night study session, every leap of faith has become part of the founding legacy.

VinUni’s spirit teaches us that making a mark is not always about standing in the spotlight. It’s about lifting others, daring to dream bigger, and writing stories that future generations will proudly inherit.

During my time here, I challenged myself to go beyond the classroom. I worked hard on my studies, explored research projects, and got involved in areas like technology, mathematics, and innovation. I wasn't just trying to get good grades — I wanted to understand deeply and contribute something new.

Outside of classes, I also spent a lot of time building communities. Through clubs like VinPioneers and other activities, I mentored younger students, organized events, and tried to make sure others had the support and opportunities they needed to grow. To me, leadership wasn’t just about titles — it was about helping others succeed too.

I also brought an entrepreneurial spirit to everything I did. Whether it was working on startup ideas, solving real-world problems in agriculture and aquaculture, or simply pushing for better solutions in our projects, I always believed that ideas are only valuable if you make them real.

Most importantly, I hope I leave behind a spirit of support, collaboration, and ambition. Whether it was helping a friend study late at night, brainstorming crazy ideas over coffee, or just encouraging someone to believe in themselves — I hope people remember that I was someone who cared, shared, and built alongside them.

VinUni gave me a place to dream bigger and work harder than I thought I could. My legacy is not just in what I achieved, but in the people I supported and the energy I helped bring to our community.

I poured my heart into building spaces where students could thrive intellectually and personally. As the Founder and Secretary General of VinUni Model United Nations (VUMUN), I nurtured a vibrant community centered on diplomacy, critical thinking, and global engagement. What began as a vision turned into a platform where students could find their voice, challenge perspectives, and build bonds that transcended national and cultural borders.

Beyond VUMUN, I was proud to lead and organize initiatives like the Mathrathon, where I bridged intellectual challenge with dynamic, physical engagement, encouraging students to push both their mental and physical boundaries. In every project I led or joined, from the hackathons and coding competitions to the volunteer-led English teaching programs, my focus was always the same: to empower others, spark curiosity, and leave behind opportunities for those who came after me.

In every step, I strived to embody the values VinUni stands for, excellence, innovation, creativity, and compassion. Whether through my academic pursuits, my leadership roles, or the quiet moments of mentoring and collaboration, I hoped to show that success is not just measured by achievements, but by the impact we leave on the people and communities around us.

More than the events organized or the titles held, I hope my true legacy at VinUni is reflected in the communities I helped grow, the students I helped inspire, and the culture of possibility I helped nurture, a reminder that with vision, kindness, and courage, we can always create something that lasts beyond ourselves.

As a CHS Cohort 4 student, I was shaped by those who came before me. Watching Cohort 1, the pioneers who took a leap of faith on an unproven institution, taught me something fundamental: legacy isn't given. It’s built. It’s earned. It’s passed down.

In my first year, through VinUni Harmony, I found a way to help shape the creative spirit of this place. VinUni Harmony wasn't just a music club — it was proof that VinUni could become a place where ideas were lived, not just discussed. A place where creativity, collaboration, and culture could thrive side-by-side.

In my second year, through VinHEALS, I pushed that vision further — leading initiatives around sex education and fundraising. These weren’t easy topics. But real change doesn’t happen through easy work. It happens through conversations we dare to start, cultures we choose to exchange, and ideas we commit to growing — even when it’s uncomfortable.

This, to me, is what VinUni’s legacy truly is: not just the degrees we earn, but the community we build. Not just the ideas we are taught, but the ones we create, test, and leave behind for others to pick up and carry forward.

VinUni has given me a platform to sharpen my empathy, deepen my abilities, stretch my creativity, and build a mindset rooted in leadership and entrepreneurship. These aren't just EXCEL values printed on a wall. They are lived experiences that define who we become.

Academically, I aimed for the Dean’s List, not just as a recognition of my efforts but as a reflection of my dedication to mastering knowledge and pushing intellectual boundaries. I sought to contribute to the broader academic community by publishing research papers in meaningful areas, and through a global lens, I pursued exchange opportunities to broaden my perspective and learn from international peers. My internship goals were shaped by a desire to apply theory to real-world challenges, gaining experience that would bridge classroom learning with professional practice.

Beyond academics, I actively contributed to Vietnam’s STEAM movement. As an Education Assistant Manager for a STEAM-focused project in Vietnam, I worked to bring hands-on, engaging educational experiences to students across the country. My involvement in the STEM mentorship program allowed me to guide and support aspiring students, passing on the knowledge and encouragement I received. I also took part in hackathons, where I collaborated with passionate individuals to build creative and impactful computer science projects—combining innovation with problem-solving to make a real difference.

My legacy at VinUni is one of purpose, passion, and progress—a testament to what can be achieved when academic rigor meets community engagement and a bold vision for the future.

Embarking on my journey at VinUniversity marked the beginning of an extraordinary chapter defined by growth, resilience, and meaningful contributions. From my very first semester, I committed myself to not only academic excellence but also to building a legacy rooted in leadership, innovation, and community impact.

A cornerstone of my VinUni journey was promoting sustainable thinking and creative recycling methods, blending engineering knowledge with environmental advocacy. My research on upcycling discarded tree forks and exploring triboelectric nanogenerators (TENG) reflected a deep desire to address global challenges through local action, aligning perfectly with VinUni’s mission of creating leaders who serve society.

Ultimately, my VinUni legacy is defined by a relentless pursuit of excellence, a dedication to innovation, and an unwavering commitment to leaving every space better than I found it. As I look ahead, I carry forward not just achievements and accolades, but a living spirit of curiosity, service, and leadership that VinUni so passionately instilled in me.

Since high school, I have actively participated in many charity trips. But the experience I had in April 2025 was truly life-changing. For the first time, I visited a special school for children living with a wide range of disabilities. It was there that I discovered something extraordinary: despite the challenges they face, these children radiated a confidence and happiness that touched me deeply.

One unforgettable moment was when some deaf children taught me a few words in sign language. They then joyfully asked me to take pictures for them - a simple gesture, but one that spoke volumes about trust, communication, and shared joy.

This experience opened my heart and mind in ways I had never imagined. It reminded me that true strength often shines brightest in the face of adversity.

At VinUniversity, we are encouraged to step outside our comfort zones, to serve, to lead, and to grow - not just for ourselves, but for others. I am proud to be part of this community where each act of kindness, each journey of learning, helps create a legacy that extends far beyond campus walls.

It was a welcome event organized by several student clubs, filled with vibrant booths, music, laughter, and enthusiastic upperclassmen. I joined not knowing anyone, but the atmosphere was warm and inviting. I remember nervously introducing myself at Library for work-study, only to be welcomed with smiles and genuine curiosity about my interests. That moment marked the beginning of many friendships and creative opportunities that would shape my journey at VinUni.

The most special part was seeing my design featured in one of the club’s social media posts for the first time—a product I had created using papercutting and mixed materials. It was a simple artwork, but seeing it appreciated made me feel like I truly belonged. It reminded me that VinUni isn’t just about academics; it's also about growing as a person and being part of something bigger.

That day taught me the power of community, creativity, and stepping out of my comfort zone. It remains my most cherished memory at VinUni so far, and I know it’s only the beginning of many more.

Living away from home for the first time, learning to cook, taking care of myself - it was both unfamiliar and empowering.

Those simple meals - quick dishes whipped up between classes - turned into some of the most precious memories.

Even though I didn’t make it past the early rounds, the experience was truly unforgettable. The energy of the crowd, the excitement of every serve and smash - it was pure joy.

Standing there, tossing the ball into the air, I realized that winning or losing didn’t matter nearly as much as daring to step up, to play, and to enjoy the moment.

Green Sport Day wasn’t just about competition - it was about being part of a vibrant community that encourages you to try, to enjoy, and to grow.

Everything felt new: the polished booths, the inspiring conversations with recruiters, and the buzz of excitement from students just like me.

It was the first time I realized that building a career isn’t something that starts "someday in the future" - it starts here and now, with every conversation, every step I take.

Looking at the proud uniforms of the pilots at the booth, I could feel the dreams of soaring higher becoming just a little bit closer - as long as we dare to begin, one small step at a time. (I'm not planning to become a pilot btw)

Between sleepless nights finishing assignments, last-minute project rushes, and the constant juggling of classes and clubs, there were moments when I felt overwhelmed.

But gradually, I realized: it’s exactly through these struggles that I’ve learned to manage my time, control my emotions, and keep moving forward.

Life at VinUni is exactly that: moments of triumph mixed with moments of exhaustion.
Yet with every project completed, every deadline survived, I find myself growing - not just into a better student, but into a stronger, more resilient version of myself.

This year, VinHEALS marked a defining shift as we moved beyond being “just a small club” and became a movement. Like our annual Blood Donation Drive, a VinHEALS tradition that’s more than just needles and numbers. It's about real lives saved, silent and a team that works behind the scenes so others can live more days ahead. It’s a tradition that speaks of who we are: reliable, resilient, and rooted in empathy (so please join in our upcoming Blood Donation this year as volunteers or blood donors!!)

During Christmas, while the world celebrated, we chose to give. We hand-baked cookies, sold them with love, and donated every penny to two children’s hospitals - and to one brave child facing a rare disease. That was the magic of the season, not in the lights, but in the lives we touched.

We didn’t stop there. At our “Safe Sex, No Stress” workshop, we created space for honest, sometimes uncomfortable conversations - because health is also about what’s left unsaid. We made it fun, real, and educational all at once. In a world where talking about sexual health can still feel taboo, we turned it into empowerment.

And on Rare Disease Day, we made voices heard that are often invisible. We honoured stories that don’t get enough light, and we reminded our community that health advocacy must be inclusive if it wants to be real.

But behind all the events, our true legacy lies in the bond we’ve built. The late-night planning calls. The chaotic, laughter-filled prep days. The moments where someone quietly says, “This mattered to me.” That’s the legacy we’re proud of is the feeling that what we do together means something.

What makes VinHEALS different? We’re not a club that chases clout. We chase change. We show up, we speak up, and we nurture a culture of healing from the inside out. This year didn’t just pass. We're on our way to redefine what it means to be a medical student with a mission.

From the colorful energy of the International Cultural Festival where we celebrated our identities with pride, to the peaceful moments of our picnic by the beach where we recharged and reconnected as friends, each memory has left its mark on our journey.

We’ve walked into unfamiliar villages on our charity trip, humbled by the smiles of children and the power of giving back together. And when the Tet holidays came around and many couldn’t travel home, we created Tet Together,a week filled with movie nights, treasure hunts, cleaning days, and simply being there for one another when it mattered the most.

Even in the small moments;impromptu dinners, karaoke nights, late-night talks in the dorms, and those meetings that turned into heartfelt conversations,VISA has always been about togetherness.

Each experience we’ve had, big or small, reminds us that being an international student isn’t just about studying in a different country. It’s about building a family far from home, embracing each other’s cultures, and creating memories that will outlive our time at VinUni.

Our goal at Vintelligence extends beyond fostering personal interests. We are here to build a strong, dynamic community dedicated to exploring and excelling in DS/AI. We aim to create a vibrant network that thrives on innovation and collaboration, one that actively competes with other academic communities and contributes valuable, skilled human resources to our nation's progressive future.

The academic atmosphere at VinUni encouraged me to pursue not just academic excellence, but also entrepreneurial creativity. In my first year, I officially brought the Soldering Workshop to life. It wasn't just about teaching technical skills—it was about cultivating curiosity, hands-on learning, and interdisciplinary thinking. The vision was simple: make electronics, engineering, and creativity accessible and fun for students of all backgrounds.

In 2025, we launched our very first STEAM Day—a collaborative event that combined Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics in a celebration of innovation and learning. With the enthusiastic support of VinUni's faculty and student community, the event brought together learners from across disciplines to explore soldering, circuit design, coding, and more. It was a day filled with sparks—both literal and metaphorical—as students held a soldering iron for the first time, watched their creations light up, and realized the power of building something with their own hands.

This STEAM Day marks just the beginning. With the backing of VinUni, our workshop is poised to become a long-lasting tradition. My dream is no longer just a dream—it’s becoming part of the fabric of the university. More importantly, it's setting the stage for a culture of hands-on innovation, collaboration, and inclusivity in STEAM fields.

My legacy at VinUni isn’t about a single event or achievement. It’s about lighting the path for others to follow, creating a space where creativity meets technical skill, and inspiring future students to tinker, build, and imagine beyond the textbook. As the Soldering Workshop and STEAM Day continue to grow, I hope they will remind others that big ideas often begin with small sparks—and that, with the right support, those sparks can become movements.

Ecoquity was founded with a clear mission: to cultivate sustainable mindsets and practices at both local and institutional levels. As its founding member and leader, I focused on building a vibrant, inclusive platform where students could learn, engage, and take action on environmental issues. We believed change begins with awareness—and so we started by fostering that awareness through monthly documentary screenings, using powerful storytelling to spark conversations about global and local environmental challenges. These sessions became hubs for dialogue and reflection, creating a growing community of environmentally conscious students.

As our momentum grew, so did our ambition. I helped organize major sustainability-focused events, including VinUni’s Open Day 2024, which attracted over 1,000 attendees, and our signature Green Sport Day, an initiative that drew more than 200 participants. These events combined fun, education, and purpose—proving that sustainability can be both engaging and action-driven. Green Sport Day, in particular, was a personal milestone, as it brought together students, staff, and guests in a celebration of eco-friendly living through sports, games, and workshops.

Internally, I made it a priority to nurture a strong, united team. We organized bonding activities and member retreats, ensuring that everyone felt valued and motivated. Leadership isn’t just about planning events—it’s about building a culture. We hosted guest speakers, led internal workshops, and created opportunities for our members to grow as advocates and changemakers in their own right. The club became more than a group—it became a community.

One of the most impactful parts of my time with Ecoquity was facilitating community dialogues on sustainable solutions. Whether it was reducing single-use plastics or promoting sustainable fashion, we encouraged open discussions and peer-led solutions. These dialogues empowered students to take ownership of their role in shaping a more sustainable campus and society.

As I prepare to leave VinUni, I’m proud to know that Ecoquity will continue on. My legacy lies not only in the events we held or the campaigns we led, but in the people we inspired and the mindset we instilled. Sustainability is not a one-time initiative—it’s a culture, a movement, and a responsibility. My hope is that Ecoquity continues to be a beacon of environmental leadership, proving that meaningful change starts with collective vision and action.

On April 19, 2025, Demo Day for the Northern region of the GDGoC Hackathon took place at VinUni. The atmosphere was electric. Teams presented bold, innovative ideas, from AI-powered healthcare tools to sustainability-focused platforms. As a core organizer and part of the GDG on Campus leadership team, I witnessed the power of student innovation firsthand. It wasn’t just about coding—it was about solving real problems, collaborating under pressure, and pushing creative boundaries. Watching two of our own teams qualify for the National Finals of GDGoC Hackathon Vietnam 2025 was a proud and emotional moment, both for the teams and for us as organizers.

Yet, the hackathon was just one part of a larger transformation. Behind the scenes, we were undergoing a major identity shift—transitioning our club from Google Developer Student Clubs (GDSC) VinUni to Google Developer Groups (GDG) on Campus: VinUni. It was more than a rebranding; it was a strategic leap. We spent weeks carefully planning the transition, preparing new branding, rebuilding our community vision, and aligning with the broader GDG ecosystem. We kept it under wraps, leaving our social media untouched—still bearing the name and branding of GDSC VinUni—until we were ready to launch.

Then came the big reveal: with energy, pride, and a little mystery, we announced GDG on Campus: VinUni to the world. With this change, we signaled not just a new name, but a renewed purpose—one focused on scaling impact, deepening industry connections, and creating more opportunities for VinUni students in the global developer community. Our motto became simple: "Pick up your laptop—our next journey starts now."

My legacy through this transition and the GDGoC Hackathon is rooted in community building, leadership, and vision. I helped shape a space where young developers at VinUni could not only learn but also lead—where they could connect with mentors, industry experts, and each other to build real-world solutions.

I hope future students will look at GDG on Campus: VinUni not just as a tech club, but as a launchpad. A place where ideas are born, where confidence is built, and where students like me once stood—believing in a vision and working with a team to make it real.

On the surface, it was a sports event—volleyball courts filled with cheering crowds, adrenaline, and dramatic rallies—but underneath, it represented much more. Green Sports Day was part of a larger mission to promote healthy living and environmental consciousness in tandem. It was a reflection of the values we as students carry: competitiveness with collaboration, passion with purpose.

This year’s edition of the event was nothing short of explosive. The volleyball tournament brought out the best of VinUni’s athletic spirit. Four teams faced off in matches that were both intense and inspiring. The CECS women's team emerged as champions, showing resilience, teamwork, and heart. The competition was fierce, but the atmosphere remained respectful, sportsmanlike, and filled with mutual admiration—everything a student-led sporting event should be.

What made Green Sports Day particularly meaningful for me was how it brought together different communities within the university. It wasn’t just an event for athletes—it was for supporters, organizers, volunteers, and those interested in how sports can be aligned with sustainability. From reusable water stations to eco-friendly event materials, every element was a chance to practice what we preached as members of Ecoquity and student organizers.

Behind the scenes, I worked tirelessly with teams from different colleges and clubs to make sure the event wasn’t just a competition, but an experience. We celebrated individual efforts through personal awards, encouraged peer recognition, and spotlighted values such as perseverance, fairness, and camaraderie. These recognitions weren’t just about skill—they were about embodying the spirit of Green Sports Day.

I consider this event one of my proudest contributions to VinUni. Not just because it drew large crowds or crowned champions, but because it created memories, inspired future editions, and laid the foundation for a lasting tradition. It blended wellness, environmental advocacy, and community pride in a way that made students feel like they were part of something bigger.

As I look ahead, I know Green Sports Day will continue to evolve, but I’m proud to have played a role in its identity and impact. My legacy is one of connection—connecting people to each other, to sport, and to sustainability. And I hope the fire we lit this year will keep burning in every match, every cheer, and every step forward.

The Legacy Book Project was never meant to be easy. It was long, detailed, and at times overwhelming. From conceptualizing the purpose of the book, to conducting interviews, writing, editing, designing, and coordinating publishing logistics—it was a massive undertaking. Yet, every challenge only deepened our belief in what we were doing. This wasn’t just a book. It was a movement. A commitment to preserving stories that might otherwise go untold.

Each page reflects the soul of our campus. We interviewed students, faculty, and staff to spotlight the resilience, innovation, diversity, and passion that define life at VinUni. We wanted readers to see beyond the buildings and accolades—to see the people. The Legacy Book became a mirror for our present and a message to future generations: “This is who we are. This is where we began.”

The moment we finally held the published book in our hands was nothing short of surreal. After months of tireless work, the book was no longer just a dream—it was real. And then came even bigger news: we were named Champions of Change for the impact and meaning behind our work. That recognition validated not just the outcome, but the process—the countless hours, the late nights, the emotional stories, and the trust we built as a team.

What I am most proud of, though, is not the title or the physical book—it’s the legacy of collaboration, storytelling, and community that the project leaves behind. It showed us that words have power. That storytelling can be a form of leadership. That documenting lived experiences can build empathy, connection, and pride in ways statistics and speeches never can.

The Legacy Book Project isn’t just a chapter in my VinUni experience—it is the legacy I leave. And I hope that long after I graduate, the book will continue to inspire new students to tell their stories, share their truths, and believe that their voices matter.

When I first walked onto the VinUni campus, I was driven by ambition, curiosity, and a desire to make the most of every opportunity. But over time, I discovered something more profound than academic success or extracurricular accolades—I discovered the power of community. As I now prepare to close this chapter, I realize that my most meaningful legacy at VinUni lies not in what I achieved, but in how I helped others grow.

From my second year onward, mentorship became central to my identity. Whether guiding first-year students through orientation, helping peers navigate their capstone projects, or leading workshops on academic writing, I learned that sometimes the most important impact you can make is simply being present for someone else. I wasn’t just answering questions—I was helping others find their voice, their path, and their confidence.

I founded and contributed to peer mentoring circles, where students could meet not just to study, but to talk about their goals, challenges, and ideas. In a fast-paced environment like VinUni, these spaces became crucial for well-being and self-discovery. We didn’t just talk about grades—we talked about growth. About failure. About what success looks like beyond the resume.

I also worked closely with international students and newcomers, helping them feel at home in a new environment. Organizing cultural exchange events, language buddy programs, and informal meetups helped create a sense of belonging for those who felt like outsiders at first. To me, building an inclusive, supportive community was one of the most important ways to give back.

Looking back, I’ve realized that mentorship isn't about having all the answers—it's about asking the right questions, showing up consistently, and believing in people when they don’t yet believe in themselves. That’s what I tried to do, one conversation, one message, and one shared moment at a time.

If I’ve left any legacy at VinUni, I hope it’s this: a ripple effect of support and empowerment. A culture where students lift each other up, pay it forward, and realize that leadership comes in many forms—not just the loudest voice, but sometimes the quietest encouragement.

As new students arrive and others take the lead, I trust that this legacy will live on, not through my name, but through every student who chooses to guide, mentor, and believe in someone else.

When I first joined VinUni, I came with curiosity and a spark of entrepreneurial ambition. That spark turned into a fire during my time with Venture X—VinUni’s entrepreneurship incubator and student-led venture community. It was more than a club. It was a collective of thinkers, doers, builders, and dreamers. We didn’t just talk about innovation—we prototyped, pitched, failed, pivoted, and tried again.

As part of Venture X, I had the opportunity to work with incredible student founders, organize pitch nights, lead startup bootcamps, and connect aspiring entrepreneurs with mentors and investors. We created a pipeline of opportunity—from idea to incubation, from problem to product. Watching first-time founders gain the courage to pitch their startups to real-world audiences felt like watching potential unfold in real time.

But my personal entrepreneurial journey was equally defining. From early brainstorming sessions in dorm lounges to late-night coding sprints, our startup was a labor of passion and persistence. We had no guarantees—but we had a vision. Supported by VinUni’s resources, faculty, and peer community, we took our idea from concept to validation. We built something real—something we believed in. Every challenge along the way taught me how to lead with clarity, to adapt with humility, and to create with purpose.

Our startup wasn’t just a product—it was a message: that students can be changemakers now, not someday. That innovation doesn’t wait for graduation. That we can build something meaningful while still learning, and that learning is most powerful when it's applied.

As I leave VinUni, I see a growing culture of entrepreneurship taking deeper root on campus. I see more students daring to launch. I see more “what ifs” turning into “what’s next.” That, to me, is the greatest reward.

My legacy is a shared one. It lives in the ventures we started, the minds we inspired, and the ecosystem we nurtured. And I hope future students will continue to build fearlessly—knowing that VinUni is not just a place to study the future, but to start it.

From late nights wrestling with assignments in JB402, to leading a project that made me believe I could build something meaningful, this place has shaped who I am. It wasn’t always loud, flashy, or perfect. But it was real.

The friendships I built in tiny moments — over bánh mì debates, shared stress before presentations, or quiet walks back from class — are what I’ll remember most. I hope I’ve made a small difference here, even if it’s just helping someone feel a bit more seen, a bit more supported.

My legacy isn’t a headline. It’s a ripple.
