One of the happiest memories I had with my classmates and teachers happened last week, on September 16, 2025. It was the day we officially started making costumes for the eco-fashion show. The moment I stepped into the classroom, I could already feel the excitement in the air. Everyone carried bags filled with recycled materials, old newspapers, plastic wrappers, cartons, and colorful scraps of fabric. We divided the items among our groups so the process would be faster since we were given only a short time to prepare.

We decided to begin with the skirt and some accessories. Some of us focused on cutting and shaping, while others started gluing and piecing things together. At the same time, a few classmates were moving around with cameras, recording our work for the documentary that was also part of the project. The room was a mix of laughter, chatter, and the sound of scissors and tape being pulled.

Even though we were under pressure, I felt so much joy seeing how determined everyone was. We were all focused, but at the same time, we were having fun. There was this shared energy that pushed us forward because we really wanted our section to stand out and win.

To finish everything on time, we even asked our teachers for extra minutes from their classes, and almost all of them agreed. That small act of kindness meant so much it gave us the chance to polish our designs and add more details to our costumes. Looking back, it wasn't just about creating something for a fashion show. It was about teamwork, laughter, and the shared belief that we could achieve something great together. That day will always stay with me as a reminder of what we can accomplish when we work as one

Today in Senior High School was another busy but meaningful day. Each subject had its own challenge, and I felt like I learned something new in both academics and personal growth. We started with General Mathematics. Our lesson was about rational functions and how to graph them. At first, the equations seemed confusing and heavy, but as our teacher explained step by step, I began to understand. I realized that patience is very important in solving math problems because a single error can change everything. I felt relieved when I finally got the correct answers in some practice exercises. Next was Pag-aaral sa Kasaysayan. The discussion focused on the struggles of Filipinos during the Spanish period. Hearing the bravery and sacrifices of our ancestors reminded me that the freedom we enjoy taday came with a price. It also helped me appreciate that history is more than memorizing dates-it teaches us identity and culture. Our third subject was Life Skills, which I really enjoy because it connects directly to everyday life. Today, we learned about managing time and setting priorities. We had an activity where we wrote our schedules and spotted the parts where we waste time. I realized I spend too much time online instead of studying. That activity inspired me to be more disciplined. After that, we moved on to Basic Accounting. We practiced journalizing simple transactions. At first, I got confused about debits and credits, but with the teacher's explanation, things became clearer. I saw how important accuracy is because one mistake can affect the entire record. Accounting felt challenging but also exciting since it connects to real business. Finally, we had General Science. The topic was ecosystems and the relationships among living things. Our group made a diagram of a forest food chain, which made the lesson interactive and fun. Though the day was tiring, I ended it proud, knowing every subject builds skills I will need in the future.

A Long But Fun Monday

Today started like no other day. As soon as I woke up, I was shocked because it was already 5:00 a.m…… and I only had an hour to get ready for school. I rushed to prepare, grabbed all the things I needed, and hopped on my booked Angkas. On my way, I felt anxious about being late. But luck was on my side because I was the class secretary, and I had a committee to help me with the attendance check. By the time I arrived, it was already 6:50, and I felt relieved that I wasn’t late. I quickly ran up to the elevator, got to my classroom floor, and hurried to the classroom.

Our first activity for the day was the Zumba performance task. When I entered, I saw my classmates scattered around the room, getting ready for the performance. I rushed to my groupmates and joined them to get ready, but first I went to the bathroom to change from my P.E. uniform into my Zumba attire. I knew I would have to change back later once the performance was over though. After getting dressed, I returned to the classroom and practiced with my group for our final practice before the performance, just to polish things up because practice makes perfect, right? When the other groups had finished, it was finally our turn. Honestly, I forgot some of the steps, but since I was positioned at the back, it wasn’t too obvious. In the end, it was fun but also very tiring. The moment it ended, I felt relieved…because finally, our Zumba performance was done.

Afterward, I changed back into my P.E. uniform and prepared for our next subject, General Science. We had an experiment that required lab coats, so we went down to the laboratory. Our group’s experiment was about the burning candle and rising water. I won’t go into detail about the procedure because I’m too lazy, but still, I found our experiment very interesting. I enjoyed observing it and was amazed by the results. Once we finished, we packed away our materials and returned to the classroom.

Recess came, but I didn’t eat anything since I wasn’t necessarily hungry. Then we had General Mathematics, but sadly, we couldn’t proceed with the discussion because of an all-level wellness activity that students had to do. Surprisingly, it was another Zumba session! When we got down to the covered court, it was very humid. Even though the court had a roof, the heat was still unbearable for me with all the students gathered there. Although I was already exhausted from the earlier activities, I still managed to have fun dancing.

Those were the major highlights of my day. It was extremely tiring, so the moment I got home, I fell asleep right away. Even though it was exhausting, I’m grateful for the good memories it gave me. For me, it’s a blessing to get tired from the things you love doing. That’s all that happened today.

Today was truly unforgettable because we had our Zumba session in class. From the moment the music started, the whole atmosphere changed-suddenly, everyone was smiling, laughing, and moving together. It wasn't just about exercise, it felt like a bonding moment for all of us.

What made it memorable was how even the shy ones and those who don't usually dance gave it a try. We were all in sync, enjoying each step, and forgetting about the stress of school for a while. The energy was so positive that it felt less like a class and more like a celebration.

I gave my all to the dance because I really wanted to get a high score, but in the end, it didn't even feel like grading mattered. September 15, 2025 will always stand out in my memory as the day Zumba reminded me that learning and fun can come together-and that the best moments are the ones we share as a group.

A Day in Audrey’s Life: Celebrating Me

This day is not just an ordinary day. I am celebrating my Sweet Sixteen Birthday.

Before I opened my phone after waking up, I prayed. I am worried if this day will be happy and worried if I will be happy this day, so I ask for the guidance and grace of our heavenly Father above. I opened my phone --- reading the birthday greetings from my family and friends. Many of my old friends greet me via message that truly melts my heart. Their words reminded me of the bond we built and how distance or time cannot erase true friendship.

I went to school like I usually do, and during lunch time, my friends from my previous school surprised me with two cute cakes with flowers and gifts. Not only did they surprise me, but they also sang Happy Birthday to every subject we had. I couldn’t stop smiling, and it felt like the whole day was filled with music and laughter.

After school, I invited my close friend to our house to celebrate with me. My friends and classmates from my previous school went to our house, as well as my new classmates from FEU Roosevelt. I was honestly surprised when I entered our house because I was not actually expecting anything other than the food. My mother and aunt decorated our backyard with some balloons. The colors, the effort, and the love they showed made the atmosphere so warm and unforgettable. All my invited friends arrived, and they sang Happy Birthday to me again. We ate food prepared by my family and sang karaoke songs. Time goes by, and my new classmates prepare to leave; however, my classmates from my previous school stayed and continue to sing and dance. Afterwards, my friends who stayed also went home. The laughter, the voices, and the music still echo in my heart even as the night ends.

I feel happy, important, and celebrated with my friends and family, who make an effort to greet, surprise, and celebrate with me. But suddenly, I feel like I am alone again after they leave. I am sure that I will miss everyone and everything. After this day, I hope they can make me happy this way again, even on our normal days. Most of all, I pray that I will always treasure this memory as one of the brightest chapters of my teenage years — my Sweet Sixteen.

Today is a very long and tiring day for me. I started my morning very early, I woke up at 4:00 and prepare for school even though I was still sleepy because I slept late last night. By 5:00 am, I went to the terminal to wait for a jeep to go to school. It was so hard to commute today because it was Monday, I thought we’re going to be late but luckily, we found an ejeep. By 6:30 am I arrived at school and prepare for the first subject. For our first subject, we practiced Zumba for our performance in life skills. It was a bit tiring, but it was enjoyable because I could feel the energy and cheering of my classmates. In the second subject, it was time for us to perform our Zumba. I felt a little nervous because sometimes I forget our steps. In the end, our group performed very well and I felt at ease because finally we’re done in our performance task. In our third subject, we went to science laboratory to do an experiment. It was so interesting to do our experiment and know more things about chemical reaction, but at the same time I was so nervous because we have a question and answer after the experiment. After our experiment, we had another Zumba session at the gymnasium together with the other sections. It was so fun yet I feel so tired because it was so hot. After all of this, I was so hungry. Me and my friends ate our lunch together and it felt so nice because we were able to rest for a while. In the afternoon, our subject was basic accounting. The topic for today was so hard for me and it is also hard to focus because I was so sleepy, but I still tried to understand the lesson. As soon as I arrived at home, I fell asleep immediately because of tiredness. Overall, the things that I did today was very tiring but at the same time it was so fun.

Today marks my 10th-grade graduation—the bridge between the person i am and the person I'll become. This morning, even the water in the shower felt colder than usual, as if it sensed that something was about to change.

There’s a soothing yet strange feeling as I put on my uniform, realizing it’s the last time I’ll ever wear it. Every fold of the cloth carries memories of laughter, stress, and friendship built over the years.

When I arrive at the gymnasium where the graduation is being held, my smile feels different—half joy for this success, half sorrow for the chapter I’m leaving behind. Time itself feels odd. It flies so quickly now, unlike before when days seemed endless as we struggled with quizzes and projects. The once strong, angry, and playful faces of my classmates are now streaked with tears.

It’s almost surreal watching everyone sign each other’s uniforms—drawing little doodles, writing messages, and leaving remarks we can look back on to remember our shared memories. It’s funny in a way, but I feel guilty because I joined in too. I didn’t cry, but my heart felt undeniably heavy, craving closure. These were my classmates for three years; it’s only natural to feel attached. The love-hate relationship I had with this section was always strange but special

A big part of my story here is also tied to my ex, who is also my classmate. She was one of the reasons I became who I am today—more disciplined, more academically inclined, and more determined to improve. She motivated me to study, not by pressuring me but by inspiring me with her own dedication. It was wonderful, and I was truly happy. But in secrecy, I cried—because this would likely be the last time we’d sit in the same room as classmates. I hope not, but I know things will feel different once we move on and grow into new chapters of our lives.

We’re crying not just from pride but from the quiet fear of drifting apart. Many of us will go to different schools, chasing our own dreams, and it hits us all at once: this might be the last time we’re together in this way. Even so, beneath the tears and uncertainty, there’s also a spark of excitement—knowing that the bonds we’ve built, the lessons we’ve learned, and the memories we’ve shared will stay with us as we step into the next stage of our lives.

And in this moment , I was infinite.
