What was happening with the economy?  What innovations were created?<br>2. <strong>Changes:</strong>  Explain the initial changes that took place because of industrialization.   What kind of problems with the environment developed? What were working and living conditions like?  Where did people live?          <description><![CDATA[<div>the resources they had were items such as cloth and metal goods.<br><br>from a economic standpoint heavy reliance on commodities is problematic for three reasons.<br>1).commodity prices are volatile and fluctuate a great deal over time.<br>2).a related problem with commodities is that when compared to the prices of manufactured goods, the prices of commodities do not rise as rapidly over the long term.<br>3).heavy reliance on commodities is often associated with lack of economic diversification.<br>some innovations were the Spinning Jenny and the steam engine .</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>the first phase ran from 1760 to 1880, the industrial revolution diffused to Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Germany, and the United States. The second phase, spanning the years 1880 to 1950, carried the industrial revolution to Russia, Japan, and Canada among other primarily Western places, especially British dominions. The third phase, which began in the 1950s and is still underway, has seen the continued industrialization of countries affected by phase two and the industrialization  of Israel and several Pacific Rim countries.</div>]]></description>
