Hi, I'm Mauro and I changed my mobile phone to english for a whole week. For me has been a good experience, I had no trouble with it, and I decided that I will keep it like that.

As I said, I didn't have any difficulties, it was very simple and intuitive to know what I was doing. Actually, mobile phones are ment to be like that, aren't they? Well, the first day I had a litlle problem with WhatsApp. My keyboard changed to English too, so when I texted someone in spanish, the corrector started doing weired things, for instance I was texting my dad to make him know that I was going to use my old pc, and instead of "sobre mesa" that I wanted to put, the corrector changed it to "sbrr mesa". Or "gracias", that was changed to "Gracia's" (I can't put a photo because I already have a file). For that reason, I changed only the keyboard to Spanish, it was very painful to write like that.

Speaking of learning, I don't think that i learned something new. Im used to watching videos in english, but like a lot, all the videos that i see from YouTube are in english, this made me improve a lot (I strongly recomend Vsauce, it is a YT chanel, super interesting). I have some computer games in english too, for example Minecraft, and for this challenge I set Clash Royale in english (it is speed up, but you can notice that every time that i press a card, it says its name in english).

All in all, that was a good experience. This made my think about changing all my devices to english, it could be excellent for my knowledge, i mean, it is helpful to have homework that is related to our normal life. From my point of view I found that it is more useful doing everyday things in english than doing 100% grammar that i will forget tomorrow.

Another difficulty is when I was in Settings and I needed to find something and I wrote in Spanish and I need to go to the translator to see the word in English and go to the settings to write the word in English What you learned I learned some vocabulary specific to my phone like settings, apps, toolbar or within apps as well.

What did you did?

Basically change the language of the mobile, exactly from Spanish to English, for a week.

Difficulties:

Generally the great difficulties I had were to find according to what things. Since there is vocabulary that I do not know. But in other cases. I know it was easy for me, due to the fact that I regularly use my mobile phone, therefore I remember most things on the phone. In conclusion, the big problem was not knowing a certain vocabulary.

What you learned:

What I learned the most are certain specific names, although there are some that are not clear to me. In general vocabulary. I also know how to identify some verb tenses, but it happens to me a bit like in vocabulary, there are some that were not entirely clear to me.

Other comments:

What really bothered me was have conversations with people or to search for different things. And that all the words I put are constantly translated. In general, I had some difficulties with certain vocabulary. And in identifying different verb tenses.

I also notice that the kyeboard is different, and sometimes it's hard to write correctly without letters that doesn't match in the context, and the fact that the "ñ" is missing.
- What you learnt
The main thing I noticed was the settings app, I really didn't know how to search on the bar a lot of things, but at the end, I could manage by finding similar concepts or just looking it by myself, with practice.
- Other comments
As you can tell, because I have had it that way for a long time now, I like the way my phone looks in english and I thing I could improve much more if I continue like this.
