One of the organisms living in our soil is the mole. Moles use their webbed feet and strong shoulder muscles to literally swim through the soil! Unlike their cousins the shrews, moles are almost blind. They use their sense of smell and the ability to feel vibrations to find food and navigate. Moles help control populations of harmful insects. Digging is hard work. So an active mole must eat about half its entire body weight each day!

To grow a plant indoors it needs seven things to grow. They are space, air, the right temperature, sun, water, time and nutrients. Nutrients will help the plants grow faster and keep it healthy. Most nutrients are mixed with water. But be careful! This fertilizer won't solve all of your plant problems. To much fertilizer will sometimes hurt your plant.
Plants will need big flowerpots for enough space. Plants need room to grow because their roots need room to grow so they can live longer.
If the temperature is too hot or too cold, your plant will die very quickly. The right temperature is between hot and cold.
Plants have little holes in them, so small you can't see them. These little holes will help the plants absorb oxygen which helps them breathe.
Plants need sunlight, too.Just like us plants need it to grow. It's going to help them grow and live longer.
What else do we need....? Water, of course! Plants need water to stay hydrated.
Last thing is time! Plants need time to grow in order to be beautiful.

A life cycle mean's when something changes into something different before it was.
The first stage is Annual and a plant that finishes it's life cycle in one growing season. It will grow, flower, set seed and die.The second life cycle is perennial and it can live for 3 or more years .It could grow, flower, and set the seed for many years. Under the earth parts may regrow new stems as in the case of herbaceous plants, or the stems may live for many years like woody plant (trees). Biennial is a plant that needs to grow two seasons to complete it's life cycle. It grows vegetatively (produces leaves) one season. Then it goes dormant or rests over the winter. In the spring, it will begin to grow again and grow flowers, set seed, and die.The seed that is left behind on the ground germinates and cycle begins again.
