Also in document B, not all people are drafted into the army, this makes the Roman military outnumbered during battles because not all of the population of the Roman empire are conscripted and the military would be small.

In document C, many invasions from different areas of the Roman empire at relatively the same time which would overwhelm the Roman military and lead to loss of land, population, and products for trade, which would hurt the economy. In document D, Ammianus Marcelinus described the Huns as glued to their horses, this made them quick and able to pick off Roman patrols and supplies, which weakened Rome and its military.

These disasters wiped out a lot of the population and caused a lot of physical damage to Rome. People who were already struggling were struggling even more. This is important because when something happens and most of the population dies and things get destroyed, the empire has to recover from it, which sometimes takes a very long time.

Soon enough there was a huge flood which caused the water to come back but also caused a lot of people to loose their lives. Rome also has hazardous diseases that passed around and caused people to get very sick and soon die.
