The police were quick to respond to the threat of the attacker and managed to usher people away from the area. In the videos that were captured you could see the officers were afraid, however they still managed to perform to the job to an amazing standard and saved countless lives. the armed police were quick to deal with the attacker once they arrived on scene. The officer who was stabbed on scene did so through trying to fight off the attacker during his assault. They immediately started treating the wounded and sorting out the casualties. They proceeded to carry on over the bridge collecting the injured as they went.
