Bordaldo Segundo sculpts waste giving them a new attraction through his Art. Rats, hedgehogs, rabbits, come out of walls or soil in the form of significant works; the artist gives life back to Nature despite its destruction by Man.
Pieces of car bodies, tires, cans, bottles or cartons are then entangled in a phantasmagorical way so that the nature evoked by his sculptures take over in the urban universe abused by the consumer society.

.borgado defines himself as a man coming from a materialistic and over-consuming generation, but wanting to make people think through his art.In this society where consumption is at its height, the production of waste is of course too! The artist therefore decided that for him the word 'waste' was abstract and that he would recycle these objects at the end of his life to produce gigantic and sometimes very colorful works in order to awaken passersby to an ecological awareness.

Trash Animals is a series of artworks that aims to draw attention to a current problem that is likely to be forgotten, become trivial or a necessary evil. The problem involves waste production, materials that are not reused, pollution and its effect on the planet.

The idea is to depict nature itself, in this case animals, out of materials that are responsible for its destruction.

These works are built with end-of-life materials: the majority found in wastelands, abandoned factories or randomly and some are obtained from companies that are going through a recycling process.

Damaged bumpers, burnt garbage cans, tires and appliances are just some of the objects that can be identified when you go into detail. They are camouflaging the result of our habits with little ecological and social awarenes
