The world as we know it is changing rapidly. The ability to detect even the smallest sight of a cancer, a tumor has evolved in a process unimaginable. What if I were to tell you that you could get a clinical scan from your home. Or even better, in your hospital room instead of having to wait for your physician to order an ultra-sound? Introducing the revolutionary Butterfly I.Q.

Based out of Connecticut comes a small simple device that connects to a smartphone, allowing you to scan at a high resolution comparable to an ultrasound right at your fingertips. Not only does this work for us humans but imagine being able to take your Pet to the Vet and instead of having your pet go through the discomfort of going through X-Ray imaging risking them to radiation and discomfort. The Butterfly Network announced back in 2019 that they will be bringing butterfly’s ultrasound on-a-chip to veterinary medicine.

This system relies on a clinician to guide the device. It links the phone it is connected to and the Butterfly ultrasound with a clinicians computer remotely(no matter the distance).

With the rise of Tele-medicine and covid-19 its more accessible for providers to speak with patients and see what they're scans are coming at in real time, instead of having a patient come into a facility and order out on a scan.
In Short, I truly believe that the Butterfly I.Q. is the next big tech in hospitals around the world. It's compact, the technology is already available to us at our fingertips. It provides clear pictures and high resolutions that compared to an actual ultrasound.

Opinion with Rationale

Opinion: In my opinion the butterfly IQ is a very innovative idea. Doctors will have the ability of performing an ultrasound right at their fingertips. Pros for this device outweigh the cons.
Rationale: With the use of this device physicians would not need to send their patents to outside facilities to get scans. It would be especially useful in a mother baby setting where ultrasounds are done on a regular to check on the health of a baby. A physician will be able to perform a variety of scans by using one portable device that he will be able to carry in his pocket wherever he goes.

Carter- Communication
Faith- Futuristic
Chloe- Competition
Randall- Responsibility
Sheila- Strategic
We can use Shiela's strategic thinking strength by allowing her to absorb and analyze the information so she can help us make better decisions. Carter can use his communication strength by easily putting his thoughts into words. He would be able to present our team ideas to anyone wanting to know more about our project. We can use Chloes strength of competitiveness to our benefit because she will strive to make progress and come out first against other competition. We Can count on Randall because his strength is responsibility and we know that he will take ownership of doing whatever he commits to. We also know that because his strength of responsibility he will be honest and loyal. Faith will be beneficial to the team because of her strength of being futuristic. She will energize others with her visions of the future regarding this product.
