Abstract: We will explain about the current education of Japanese schools in the coronavirus pandemic. Prolonged school closures because of the spread of the coronavirus provided an opportunity to promote online lessons, but it is thought that there are still many problems. First, the educational style in Japan during the coronavirus pandemic will be compared with other countries around the world. Then an explanation will be given to why there are few online lessons in Japanese schools, and explain the way of thinking about regular face to face classes in Japan. We would like to propose future education in Japan such as how to make online lessons go more smoothly.
https://youtu.be/rsmFyPR2Hn4

Abstract: We focused on the relationship between COVID-19 and education.

UNICEF said that 90% of the children around the world could not go to school because of coronavirus.

There are students who do not have a good environment to study online. This is caused by a “digital divide”. It is an issue for distance education methods.

In the future, there are some expected problems of education and school closures. Also, due to the lack of education, it makes them unable to get a decent job. This is common to all countries.

Due to COVID-19, schools have been closed causing the number of children suffering from hunger is increasing because they cannot eat school lunch.

We propose two solutions. First, reopening each school with controlled measures to fight infection ，disinfect surfaces with alcohol and so on. Second, implementing an alternative distribution system for school meals.

In conclusion, in order to keep fighting the coronavirus, we must solve these issues for children.

https://youtu.be/fg2T3DZ0Cbo

Abstract: We focused on the education gap caused by COVID-19. Most countries suffer from the effects of the coronavirus. UNESCO estimates that about 90% of the world stayed home due to school closures of the schools in April.

First, we researched the case of Japan. In Japan, some schools have online education and some do not, and there is an education gap.

Second, we researched the case of Finland. In Finland, the use of ICT was advanced even before the school was closed due to COVID-19, so it seems that it was possible to do it smoothly.

Finally, we researched the case of Zambia. In Zambia, most students couldn’t accept online education because they don’t have the Internet.

Child marriage is the marriage in which minors are forced to marry people without choice. The number of child marriages has increased during the pandemic. That is because, there are a lot of parents who have lost their jobs and can’t support their children. Then, children are forced to marry. One of the problems of the child marriage is the lack of education. Girls have to do the housework and raise their baby. So, they can’t attend school. This may only continue a cycle of lack of education. Education is a powerful strategy to end child marriage. . Educated girls develop skills, knowledge and confidence to make informed decisions including if ,when and whom to marry. According to PLAN INTERNATIONAL, the impact of COVID-19 will result in 13 million additional child marriages over the next 10 years. Action needs to be taken by many groups, including governments.

COVID-19 and its effect on Education in Nepal!!!! Nepal, like any other low-income countries, has big gaps among its citizenry in terms of their socio-economic and education/literacy background. The existing system of education and the uneven distribution of its resources have often been blamed for the widening gaps between the haves and have-nots; in the advent of COVID-19, the digital divide and the uneven access to e-learning and e-resources will increase the gaps even further by widening the inequalities between the advantaged and disadvantaged children.

In this situation under the COVID-19 outbreak, schools around the world have been closed and there have been no places available to protect children and provide mental health care. Therefore, a number of children are left at home to take care of their younger brothers and sisters. Some are left with older grandparents. This may cause further isolation which leads to child abuse and child neglect. In response to this situation, a project to create a platform or App where children can share their troubles is needed in order to avoid further isolation from society. Moreover, this project will give children the chance to safely ask for help if they are in an unsafe environment. It will also enable them to interact with young people like themselves in the same country or around the world. It is our hope through projects like this that children can feel safe.

As schools go digital, the video will showcase the pros and cons of online classes in India. Moreover, the video highlights the steps taken by the government of India to ensure quality e-learning amongst students. Clearly, due to the pandemic, students have become more productive and active in their studies while the educators have grown and have opted for teaching technologies that were not used earlier, thereby being more innovative in their teaching. Therefore, due to the accessibility of technology, we anticipate that online education in India is a way forward into the future.

This is to be observed until the risks of exposure to the sickness are eliminated. The National government made actions to ease and help Filipino learners such as Remote Learning which provides quality education through four modes: Online, Modular, TV, and Radio Learning. Region 8 has also followed through the various learning modes. Leyte Normal University - Integrated Laboratory School also took initiatives to help alleviate the situation. Several actions were spearheaded by the university in order to contribute to this new normal way of learning of the students during this pandemic. One of which is the ILS Online Essentials Facebook page which was proposed by the student participants to further assisst the students in the ILS in their learning process.

Thank you for make such a wonderful video about education in COVID-19. I think you have done very good researches about the topic. Also, the slides are quite easy to follow with lots of pictures. One point that I hope that you might work on more to improve your presentation's structure by using a table of content. I also have some questions that I want you to think of so that you can deepen your presentation and understanding about your topic. Are there any reasons besides the lack of ICT skills that cause Japan to not adopting online classes? How can we encourage teachers and students to use ICT? Why do we need to prevent the educational gap between public school and private school (why is this issue important?)? Once the pandemic is over, should we get back to face-to-face classes or continue online classes? I hope my advices and questions are helpful for you. Wish you all the best!

Hello, we are Katja, Linnea and Liam from Ystad Gymnasium, Sweden. In this video we talk about education - which is the key to success and development of a country. Here in Sweden everyone has the opportunity to study compared with other countries - mainly because our school attendance is free. Also, Your background, family’s wealth or gender does not matter in regards to being able to get an education. The only thing that matters when you are trying to get into a specific program are your grades. Our school “Ystad Gymnasium” and the rest of the high schools in Sweden as well as University students were - according to the government's decision - put on online education from the middle of March 2020. In this video we mention some problems that have appeared because of online education and also some solutions to the problems. So sit back, relax and enjoy!
