The department of Agriculture focusses on providing leadership on food, agriculture, natural resources, rural development, nutrition, and related issues based on public policy, the best available science, and effective management. The lorax is a perfect pick for this because his whole goal was to protect the natural resources when the rat looking business man wanted to tear down trees to use for his factory, and the lorax is perfect because he is like a leader to the animals and his people, and will convince you to not do something that could be detrimental to the environment.
