The best Christmas market is in the centre of Prague at Old-Town Square. It is about 20 minutes by public transport from our school.

Potato salad is usually added to the carp as a side dish.

Advent wreath

We make Christmas wreaths which we then hang on the door. We decorate the tree and bake cookies. Four Sundays before Christmas, we always light a candle on an Advent wreath. We also get an advent calendar from Nicholas, from which we eat one sweet every day until Christmas.

Sure but we have a lot I just can't give them all because there are too many so I'll give you at least examples:
In the evening the tree is decorated and then we go down to the lower floor. Then we go upstairs and there are presents that baby Jesus brought there. But before we go unwrap the presents, we have Christmas Eve dinner.

St. Nicholas Day

We celebrate it on 5th of December. St. Nicholas and group of devils and angels go round houses and flats, look in their book of good and bad deeds and reward good children with presents. Are they real or are they just dressed up?
