Our whole group chose article 1 which talked about what you say and how you say it can affect the child's temperament. The article was somewhat valid because it only specified interaction by voice. The article is somewhat valid because it was written by Robert Myers who has a PhD and is licensed, we know this because there is a small summary provided about the author, and also provides research because they listed their resources from the research. The book and the website both agreed that a parents behavior can affect the child's temperament in either a positive or negative way. It is important to pay attention whether it provides research to prove that it is viable.

Yes, we think it is important because it provides information to parents understand their children in how they develop and learn. They can help because it can provide a parent with information that they did not know about their child, and can also hurt because the information that is provided can be false.
