This book is written in the point of view of the Silverback gorilla. He lives at a mall with his two friends an elephant and a dog. The baby elephant that they bring in would like to live an a zoo and helps Ivan, the gorilla see their habitat in a different way. At the end they end up going back to live in a zoo. 

This book can be used in a lesson for students to do research and learn about the real Ivan.
