The village we have in mind is a medium-sized one with about 80-100 total residents with nuclear families and joint families as well. The houses in the village are not so far away placed from each other. All the houses are pretty close and within 10-foot reach of each other. If the whole village takes up 1-acre land, most houses are randomly distributed with space for small vegetable gardens. A majority of the houses have useful animals like goats, hens, cows, etc for their daily household necessities.
 - Amina Ajim

 AM.EN.U4CSE19205

Water is a very important part of every household and clean water is a necessity. In our village, there is a big common well where all the families come to fetch water for their needs. There is also a pond nearby which is basically like a go-to place for all the residents. When there is a shortage of water in the well, they usually go to this pond to take water for their needs. There is also a way to direct water from this pond to the village directly, but the water they get that way is minimal. It is this water from the pond, that they use to bathe their animals and for other cleaning purposes. Drought is a common problem and there are times when water shortage has been a huge problem.
- Amina Ajim
AM.EN.U4CSE19205
