Everybody pretty much knew everybody if they were in the same grade. The school itself wasn't the best but I was happy here and I have a lot of memories here. I feel like I changed going into 5th grade because mostly everyone I was friends with before I just stopped talking to them as much and made new friends. I met one of my best friends I have now in 5th grade. I really didn't talk to people besides my classmates and outside of school I really didn't talk to anybody ever besides one person. I quit playing soccer this year because I wanted to stop after 8th grade but pandemic started before my season started. So 7th grade season was my last. I really hated the position I was in switching schools because I knew nobody at first and it was hard for me to adapt. I became depressed and let myself go. At first I was happy school got cancelled because I still didn't adapt the way I wanted too and felt I didn't fit in. But then I realized that limited socialization really hurt me. I like to see what people I talk to do like what sports they play or games they play, stuff like that and I would try them out and get better at whatever im doing and during this time I really couldn't do that. My grandmas brother came to visit from Puerto Ricco but he felt very sick very fast and he got rushed to the hospital. From what I know he had cancer and it came back and it was really bad and we were helping him for about a year. This was very emotional for me seeing my family sad because he was going though a lot. My grandmas brothers cancer got a lot worse and doctors said his cancer was uncurbable since his cancer became stage 4 cancer and he sadly accepted it and wanted to go home to spend the rest of his life there. So my mom decided to take me and we took him home and spent 2 weeks there.
