Each student will be given a tablet of some type and will go to the Kahoot website. The teacher will create an account and receive a code to give to the students. The teacher will make up a series of questions. The code will be so the students can get to the correct series of questions. Once everyone is logged into the game the questions will start and each student will answer the questions. Each question the students get correct they get points for. They also get points for responding quickly. This website is a great way to see the student's understanding of the lesson. It also gives you time to go over the correct answer if there is a question that was commonly missed.

The graffiti wall is where students can share their own information about a certain subject. Different categories are posted on the white board and students write however they want about what they know about the categories. The information the students write on the board should only be a word or two that describes the topic. They can write backwards, in bubble letters, diagonal, vertical, horizontal, and any other way they can think of. Once everyone is done writing the teacher can then go over all the words and make any clarifications if necessary.

At the end of the lesson the students will have time to write a 3.2.1 response. The students will list three things they remember, two examples, and one question they may have. Comepleteing a 3.2.1 response gives the students time to think and reflect about the lesson. They also get a chance to practice what they learned by having to provide an answer. This is a great way for students to show the teachers what they know about the lesson. It also gives the students who do not like to speak out a chance to write down and ask any questions they have.

The answers could be true, false, fact, opinion, cause, effect, and even question marks for I do not know.

Show what you know is a activity the students will have to complete before they leave or move on to the next lesson. A statement is written, and the students have to decided if they agree or disagree. Once they pick if they agree or disagree they must write on a sticky note their answer and why they think that way.

The beach ball review activity is a great way to get students involved, and to keep their attention. The beach ball will have questions marked on it on each color. This activity can also be used in all subject areas. The beach ball will be throw by the teacher to a student and where the student's left thumb lands is the question the student has to answer. Once the student answers the question the students will then through it back to the teacher and the teacher will throw it to another student. This could go on until every student has had a turn.

An exit tweet is where students will write a sentence or two to either answer a question about the lesson, write what they have learned from the lesson, or write a question they have about the lesson before they leave the classroom. If the students are old enough they could even create their own twitter account and tweet it on there instead. This activity however, is directed toward the younger students. Once they write their response the teacher can then go over everyone's tweets to clarify or answer any questions students may have. It also gives the teacher a clear idea on who understands the lesson.

Bingo is a great way to assess the students knowledge. They will have to know the specific content in order to mark off the space that has been called. It is also a great way for the teacher to visually see if the students get the correct answers. This specific bingo deals with math fractions and different colors. The teacher will call out the color and the fraction. The first student to get five in a row wins.

Color by number is a great assessment tool for students. First they do not know they are being assessed since it involves coloring. Second it help the teacher quickly see if the students understand their addition facts by the way they color the certain sections. The students will first have to answer each addition problem. Once they get their answer they will then be able to color the certain sections the correct way according to the key at the bottom of the page.
