         <description><![CDATA[<p>The VR experience was great and had a hands-on feel. The ability to witness the factory without actually being there was interesting. </p><p>The skytrack test drive was also wonderful. </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>The use of robots to efficiently assemble cars to fulfil orders (as opposed to mass production) to prevent overproduction is ingenious </p><p><br/></p><p>The use of robots to manage the planting of seeds and the general management of the hydroponics is eye opening as it reduces the labour required and allows for large production of vegetables in a considerable limited space.</p><p><br/></p><p>These initiatives have reduced labour intensive work for humans. Instead humans are required to understand and manage the technology </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Embracing AI needs to start from school, to prepare students for a futuristic workplace. Project work, thanks to its open ended nature, lends itself very well for teachers and students to explore a wide repertoire of AI tools.</p><p><br/></p><p>A shift from rote-learning / content mastery to problem solving, critical thinking, and adaptive thinking.</p><p><br/></p><p>What needs to be done differently?</p><ul><li><p>rethink our assessment (including science practical, which is currently very prescribed rather than promoting investigative thinking and exploration).</p></li><li><p>promote interdisciplinary collaboration? </p></li><li><p>cultivate adaptive mindset?</p></li></ul><p><br/></p><p>Though I am not sure to what extent points 1 and 2 are possible in a MOE school curriculum context. Perhaps MOE can explore H1 subject being a thematic module rather than being subject-based. For example, H1 Climate Change, H1 Sustainability, H1 Food Security, H1 Ageing Population, H1 Ethics in Science.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>one of the key skills that stood out during the learning journey was leveraging generative AI tools for ideation and conceptual development. </p><p><br/></p><p>in the talk hosted by URA, we used Mentimeter to gather input and co-create ideas with stakeholders. these ideas were then translated into refined design prompts using ChatGPT, and visualised through Midjourney. </p><p><br/></p><p>the exercise focused on exploring design possibilities for underutilised urban spaces — specifically viaducts and a defined area in Marine Parade, Singapore.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>when students contribute ideas and vote (e.g., via Mentimeter), and then see their input reflected in the design or ideation process, it boosts engagement, ownership, and overall buy‑in. it shifts learning away from passive reception toward active participation.</p><p><br/></p><p>at the same time, digital literacy needs to evolve into AI literacy. students should learn how to craft better prompts in tools like ChatGPT, understand what AI can reliably do and where its limitations lie, and develop the ability to evaluate its outputs. </p><p><br/></p><p>but with so much technology involved, it is also crucial to preserve the human side of learning. these human interactions help ground the technology, keep learning social, and ensure deeper understanding.</p>]]></description>
