This book is a great page-turner and will have you wanting to know what happens page after page. The book starts out with Robert Langdon, a symbolist from Harvard, where he must join forces with the scientist Vittoria Vetra to save the Vatican from a powerful bomb that could destroy it and the cardinals to be elected after the Pope had died. Throughout this journey, the two discover many secrets and mysteries, even including the one responsible for the threat. The main theme of this book had showed a conflict between science and religion, and the present day battle for control. If you are familiar with the movie series, "National Treasure", it is a lot like that; solving puzzles and going on adventures. Within the book, Brown provides many surprises for the reader to discover and adds a mix of mystery within the religious and historical elements within the read.
